**Blue Dolly retroactively charged my account for a previous refund after i posted this review, without my permission. We received no notice of the charge and are still in the process of disputing with our bank. As for “false allegations” the photos speak for themselves. Im glad to see 3000+ people have viewed them, and can make an informed choice as a consumer. Damages: -$1700-a brand new couch from Blu Dot, the first i’d ever bought. -$800-a brand new room and board bed-frame with the tag still on, was given to them wrapped, they unwrapped it -$200-a brand new handmade wooden bench, legs broken and wobbles now -an antique armoire that has scratches along the side -lost 6 pieces i had to replace to a shelf that a previous moving company had carefully wrapped -Wooden front door broken at the house we were leaving I hired this company in the hopes that they would take extra care of my moms furniture. They came with the recommendation of my realtor, and despite the quote being significantly higher than competitors, i wanted my mom’s antique pieces to arrive to her house safely. Huge mistake. We knew almost immediately that we had made the wrong choice. They arrived at the tail end of their estimated time and broke our front door right before an inspection for the sale of the house the next morning. We were frantically calling our realtor and searching for someone to do a repair that night and stayed up past 1am, with no help offered from the company that evening besides an offer to call the next morning. We also had blown past the initial estimate that first day. During the move, one guy was moving a brand new couch down a flight of stairs by himself unwrapped. We had to help them figure out how to carry out certain pieces which was something I’ve never had to with any previous moving company. They were also unable to move a hutch that they later had to go back for. When the furniture arrived at our new house, some pieces were purposefully positioned to hide damages. We spent hours on the phone with the owner of the company and ultimately received a partial refund. A month passed. We were told that we would receive a full refund over four weeks but then that was delayed indefinitely when their trucks broke down. For the time it took to get the partial refund, how much business advice i heard my mom giving the owner, it was not worth the pain, and we were not surprised when it was delayed again. If this can save anyone the hell we experienced, we believed sharing our experience was more important than the refund in the hopes no one else has this same awful experience. **Also ran into a woman who said they dropped her baby grand piano, so at this point we know its not just our experience. As for that being false-their own mover confirmed they moved three pianos with blue dolly when we spoke with them. The lies man. Jesus.

If you have new furniture look else where . My brand new furniture got damaged. Paid this company twice to move me and just horrible never again! GO ELSEWHERE oh and how can I forget they absolutely left the job UN done I have a beautiful entertainment center and they could not piece it back together they actually stripped the holes and lost the screws on top of that. My 1500 dining table ruined in seconds as you can see in the picture absolutely devastated I shouldn’t have even paid them since they left the job un done and it’s still un done. Unprofessional. Look elsewhere!

We had an outstanding experience with Blue Dolly from start to finish. The entire process was seamless — beginning with the initial moving consultation all the way through hauling away unwanted items for donation after the move. Alec prepared us for everything. He communicated clearly, provided all packing materials, and walked us through details we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. He covered all the “small stuff” that can easily turn into big issues — like truck parking logistics, access to the loading area/elevators, and required paperwork — which gave us total peace of mind. On moving day, the crew was on time, efficient, friendly, and incredibly considerate of our time and space. They handled everything with care and professionalism, making what is usually a stressful experience feel organized and manageable. We couldn’t have asked for a better moving company. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I've hired movers & I'm so glad I went with Blue Dolly. They were friendly, efficient, professional, clean, and careful with my things. They were friendly to my dog and made moving by myself easy. I would absolutely recommend them. The communication was incredibly thorough, pricing and estimate was very clear, no hidden fees, and the founder even reached out before and after my move to make sure everything was to my liking. Very personalized service.

My family and I had the best experience with blue dolly. This was our first time hiring movers and I'm happy we went with them. Communication was excellent and went into our move in day with zero concerns. Steve and Terrance were beyond exceptional. Extremely friendly and professional. They handled everything with care and got the job done quick. If I were their employer, I would highly value them. 10/10 would recommend. Ask for Steve and Terrance! Thanks y'all!

We contracted Blue Dolly to move our belongings on Dec. 2nd. Though there was a delay in the start, we were absolutely thrilled and amazed at the pace and efficiency of our three men (Ron, Trey and, I believe, Dion). They were swift AND upbeat throughout the challenging move, making far better time than we anticipated. These guys rocked the project and, though it’s been 40 years since our last move, we’ll call them gladly even if our next move is another 40 years down that long and winding road. Thank you guys, you were phenomenal!!!

We are so disappointed with our experience with Blue Dolly. A move should be a joyous experience, and we gave every chance to make this right. Including lowering the amount of the refund they agreed, and spending a lot of time on the phone giving friendly business advice as I am a proud small business owner myself. As it stands, this move cost us well over $4000 with the moving cost and damages to our furniture and the house that we left. We hope people can use their judgement and protect themselves from a company that took advantage of us. If you are moving, always ask if the moving company has insurance to cover damages.

Blue Dolly came to save the day. We thought we could handle loading up the U-Haul and quickly realized that we couldn’t so we contacted Blue Dolly at 1am, was contacted by 7am, confirmed the 3 movers by 10am and they were at our place by 1pm. It took them 3 hours to move an entire floor of boxes and random furniture. They were amazing at Tetris to stack the U-Haul up to the ceiling against the back wall. It was also -15 degrees F outside and they were all champs. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our day!!

Steven and Tarrence were amazing!!! We were panicked in a move to get things packed into our pods- Alec who is the owner got in touch with me right away and put my mind at ease. Less than 24 hours notice - and when Tarrence and Steven arrived they took good care of us! Quickly repacking our pod to maximize space and then finishing the job. Top notch and incredibly productive. Great with my son too! Loved it!
