Blk Wax Bar was created to address a need for clean skincare and services not commonly offered on this side of the beltway. We came to PG county because we are from here and want to build in our community. Our services are gender neutral and LGBTQ+ friendly. We aim to make everyone feel comfortable, included, and heard in a space that is safe and committed to quality service. We differ from your typical waxing experience because we use vegan and organic wax which is more gentle on the skin and aids in reducing ingrown hair and hyperpigmentation post treatment. The products we carry in store are all handmade, organic and minority woman owned. So come in, relax, shop and get serviced by a small business you can put trust in.

Hello Hunny Bees!! 🌻🐝 👑 💛💕It's your girl Hunny back with a review of another local small business. I Upon entering I was warmly greeted by a beautiful young lady. She offered me a beverage ($5). The bathroom is clean and smells good. I sat in the waiting room it is beautiful very nice. The music is on point. The place is a vibe. There is plenty of parking it's a little tight but it works. My wax technician is Mia and she was so good!! Professional, pleasant and great conversations. I've been here about 4 times so far and this is now my permanent spot. Check them out and tell them your girl Hunny sent you 💕

I have been there now three times and each time was a great experience. I go to Jaimy and I get my full face,eyebrows,Underarms, and full brazilian. She is great each time. I am very specific with my eyebrows and she always listens and executes them. About the shop, it is very clean and nice vibes. Always playing great music even at 9am. They also offer wine for $5 to help you relax while dealing with the pain lol. The young lady at the front desk is alway friendly.
