I had an amazing experience with BLK STRY Studio in West Hartford! Registering to use the space was so easy, and the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. The studio itself is absolutely gorgeous—giving luxurious and high-end vibes. It’s the perfect backdrop for stunning photos, and the scenes we captured were simply amazing. WOW! BLK STRY Studio is a photographer's dream come true. As a natural light studio, all I had to do is show up and everything I needed was there. I also had the options to use lighting so many different scenes and props. This is a black owned photography studio and the owners were amazing. This is the perfect studio to host your events or photo shoots. Thank you LaJune King for allowing me to use your studio.

The space at Blk Stry Studio is fabulous. So many fun and creative areas for photos. Perfect for professionals, seniors, couples, boudoir and more! LaJune and Dimi King are so fun and energetic. They just make the place sparkle. I would definitely recommend booking your space!!

Me and my family scheduled a mini-session with LaJune, and if I tell you, she gave us the best mini-session ever! She was attentive to our needs and made each of us feel special in our very own way. She played great music, had a clean facility, and had a wonderful personality. We could not have asked for a better experience! We have found our forever photographer!

Great studio. Cool little sets with a few different colored walls. Great props around. Very spacious as well. It worked great for us for photos. Unfortunately we also had a video to shoot and there was some kind of ridiculously loud gym class going on below us. I understand this isn’t a full on video studio, but the website does advertise it as a photo / video studio. I also understand that they can’t control what businesses are beneath them, but I wouldn’t book this studio for any video work again.
