Project update:
Our drain field project in Smokey Point has been signed off by the designer and is awaiting final approval from the Snohomish County Health Department. We are currently scheduled to backfill and complete the project on 05/23. We are hoping to have a time lapse video as well as pictures of portions of the project available on our website soon.
New Work:
Sedro Woolley:
During this time, we have received a request to assist a family with their septic system in Sedro Woolley. While their system is currently function as designed, they are trying to add a shop, possibly with and ADU. We have a designer in involved and will provide updates as we move through the process.
Bothell:
Yesterday (Saturday) we received a call from a family in Bothell because of water in the back yard and a septic alarm. When we arrived to provide assistance, we unfortunately found that someone had done a boot leg system, which in now failing because of several factors that would have been identified if it had been done legally.
They bought this home 4yrs ago with the understanding and expectation that everything had passed inspection and was working properly. Yet another example of someone cutting corners and someone else paying the price.
