Another instance of landscaping causing issues for the septic system.
This block wall was installed on top of the concrete septic tank. The weight from the wall has led to cracks forming in the sidewall which allows effluent to escape in the dry season, and allows ground water to enter when the water table rises. Neither are good things and result in costly repair work.
