Blackstone Berners & Bernedoodles

We picked up our little guy two weeks ago. From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. Rhett is wonderful! I had lots of questions in the beginning of the process and he always got back to me within the day, usually within an hour! He is professional and yet he made us feel as if we were friends. Our puppy was off to such a good start at Blackstone Berners….well taken care of and healthy! If you’re thinking you might like to add a Bernedoodle to your family I highly recommend this place. We live in Wisconsin and it was worth the drive!

I can’t recommend Blackstone enough if you’re looking for a Bernedoodle pup to add to the family. From the very first email I sent inquiring about a pup, Rhett was eager to answer any and all questions we had (there were a lot). He was always very informative and thoroughly answered each and every question. You could tell right away that he wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied with our whole experience. And we were. Dana was also very helpful as well, and you could tell in just our two times of meeting her that she really cared about the pups. We payed for the extra 2 week training and I believe that did wonders for our Ollie and made the transition home so smooth. Again, I really can’t recommend Blackstone enough if you’re looking for a new pup. You won’t be disappointed!

I cannot say enough good things about Blackstone! Adding a puppy to the family is a big commitment, and Rhett and Dana made the process so easy and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Gillie has fit perfectly into our family and is seriously the best puppy we could have asked for. Much credit for that goes to the 2 week 101 training program, which was soooo worth it and set our little fluff ball up for success. We were able to meet both parents and spend time with Gillie twice before brining her home. Highly recommend Blackstone to anyone considering adding a Bernedoodle to their family!

Rhett has been phenomenal to work with. He has gone above and beyond to communicate with me before, during, and after getting my puppy. He answered all of my questions leading up to pick up day and checked in with me multiple times after bringing her home. You can tell he truly cares about the dogs and provides such a well rounded experience! I highly recommend Blackstone Berners. I could not have asked for a better experience. My puppy is sweet natured, easy going, and lovable.

We got our adorable Tri Color Merle from Blackstone Berners & Bernedoodles and we are in love! It was very easy to work with Rhett and his team. Rhett answered all our questions thoroughly about the Bernedoodles and communication through the entire process was very easy. The selection process was awesome. We were able to make our selection from the available puppies about a month before take home date. We meet the mom, Nova. She was the sweetest mama and gave me confidence that our new pup would be a doll like her. We also got to meet Rizzo and he was such a handsome boy! This is our first bernedoodle so it was great to meet both mom and brother. Our bernedoodle does not shed much at all, if any. If she does I do not notice. Her coat is gorgeous and fluffy. That was one question I had, as we had an F1 labradoodle that did have a coat that shed a bit, which we were warned about. Check out Blackstone on Instagram to see all the lovely puppies. We had two pups prior to finding BB for our final 3rd furry member of the family. Our first breeder left us without a good experience at all, but a great pup. Our second breeder was absolutely excellent. But Rhett blew them all out of the water. We knew what to expect and what it takes for a breeder to truly be an expert and a professional. I can say with total confidence to anyone reading this that Rhett checked every single box (and then some) during the entire process. He was so accommodating and handled my every request or question with a smile. Once our pup was home, we could tell that Rhett had invested so much effort and care into preparing her for her future home. This has been the absolute best experience. BB went above and beyond. Not to mention I feel the pups are influenced by Rhett and his personality. Which is nothing but kind, understanding, laid back and overall caring. And that is exactly what we got with our girl. We had an amazing experience with Blackstone Berners! Rhett was wonderful. Throughout the weeks leading up to puppy pick-up day, the communication was excellent. We received weekly photos and almost immediate responses to my many questions. Since bringing our puppy home, he continues to answer questions quickly and it’s obvious that he really cares about the puppies and their new homes. Our girl is sooo sweet, healthy, smart, well-socialized, and playful. Potty-training has been way easier than expected too! We highly recommended Blackstone Berners!

Upon agreeing it was time to get a second doodle, we came across Blackstone Berners. Rhett responded immediately and was very informative and friendly; and answered any questions we had. We couldn’t wait for the next litter ◡̈ and got on the list - being around #14th pick. Though a lot were chosen prior, there were so many cuties left. We picked “Phoenix” who is now “Cora.” I agree with the other reviews, Blackstone Berners truly did so much to ensure our girl was ready for her transition to us. Rhett’s down to earth and laidback personality is reflected in the pups. Cora is the MOST chillest dog. She is a gentle giant, everyone loves her and she fears nothing. They also started crate training AND potty training with the pups! We highly recommend Blackstone Berners! They are AMAZING 💜

Rhett from Blackstone Berners was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment I made the first call. Rhett was happy to answer any and all questions I had during the entire process of getting our little Zeus. He is an amazing breeder and has high quality pups. We are so incredibly blessed to have Zeus in our lives. He is an amazing, smart calm and caring pup.

This was our first family dog and we couldn't feel more blessed with the experience we received from Blackstone. Communication was prompt and our many questions were answered with kindness and consideration. Upon first visit, I was able to meet both Rocco and Skye which told me a lot about the puppy I would eventually take home. Blackstone's dogs are well cared for with the best temperaments – sweet, happy and playful. And our dog, Kylo is no exception! He is healthy and thriving in our home. We will be forever thankful to Rhett, Rocco and Skye for the love we get from Kylo.
