It’s a beautiful thing when you send your beloved bike in for servicing and it gets the same love while being serviced. I requested for an overhaul of my foldie and Moses went through all the necessary things that needed to be done and RJ did his magic in the workshop. It took a couple of days, and the bike I got back looked and sounded absolutely beautiful and rode even more beautifully, like it was given a new life. What a lovely team at Bike Republic. Thank you.

This is the best place to send your trifolds for maintenance, and upgrades for their honesty, fair prices and ethics. The trifold I owned wasn't purchased from them, but needed substantial repairs from an accident. Irregardless, they took the bicycle in for full maintenance for $180 (comparable prices with other trifold shops) with some requested upgrades. Throughout the one week repair process, the mechanic called in to request consent for various findings and replacements. Once repaired, the bicycle was in a much better condition when I purchased it with scratch marks covered by matching paint. I was prepared to pay the high premium for such a service. So imagine my pleasant surprise when it only costs $50 for crucial component replacements such as wheel skewers, new brake lines, rear bumper lock. The component costs were similar to stock prices (possibly cheaper than if you were to buy online individually) and were itemised fairly. Thank you Bike Republic for the thorough servicing.

Went down on the 27/03/2021. Place was packed with people testing and buying bikes. I had my mind on 2 bikes before coming down either the element izi Q5 ($590) or Element Ecosmo 10 kopi edition ($599). After tesing the 2 bikes i decided on 1 the Element green kopi edition. I approached a young staff who seems helpful at first. So i told him i wanted to the bike and wanted to make payment. He handed me a ipad which entered my details. They only have cash /nets/paynow which was werid when their i pad had credit card options. Nevertheless i paid using PayNow as they had a promotion for free bottle cages and bell after you leave them a review. I asked if i the review was google map. His reply was :" Where got people leave review on google map? This is a form which you can just review on it." After scanning the QR code it brought me here to GOOGLE MAP. After fixing the bottle cage and bell he told me to wait as he wanted to teach me how to fold. So i waited for 10 minutes or so before coming to teach me. So he taught me his method but he wasn't sure and was filding with the adjustor several times before he made it work. After which i requested the rear derailleur cable to be trimmed as it was amost touching the ground. He was confused as to what it ment but after various pointing and explaining to him he said he will bring to his mechanic to trim it. After a final check it was okay and i left the shop look forward to ride the next day. 28/03/2021: Took my bike out for a short ride at my neighbourhood PCN and keep hearing disk rotors rubbing noise. I checked the wheel the day before and it was slightly true which is acceptable. After some fiddling around i found out that the skewer springs was placed incorrectly and they used the spring to make my wheel "TRUE". When i placed the front wheel back to its correct alignment, the wheel was not true to begin with and the rotor rub became louder. What a disappointment. So i video down and pm on therir FB. They replied the next day and told me to bring down during weekdays and with their 11.30am - 6.30pm opening hours not everyone can make it down. 2/04/2021 Folded my bike as per how the young Indian staff taught me. I took my bike on public transport for some cycling trip at the cbd area and i keep hearing metal rubbing sound. Initially i thought it was the rotor disk rubbing to the brake pad but when i wanted to start my journey. I noticed that my brake levers was badly scratched and became wobbly. And when i cycled for longer distance i felt the rear disk also have the rubbing sound. THANK YOU BIKE REPUBLIC. NOW I HAVE TO LIVE WITH "VALUABLE" FOLDING METHOD THAT YOUR STAFF WAS NOT EVEN WELL TRAINED ON TL:DR As a cyclist with his own self built road bike, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND BIKE REPUBLIC. Good bicycle Selection BUT HORRIBLE Tunned bike with little or no effort given. And once again thank to the staff for your "WONDERFUL" folding tips.

I’d like to share some thoughts on my recent experience. The customer service representative seemed almost afraid to welcome me — or maybe saying “hello” just wasn’t part of the training manual. The hesitation, the lack of warmth, and the “why-are-you-bothering-me” energy made the entire interaction feel… enchanting in its own way. I mean, it takes a special talent to make a customer feel invisible and unwelcome at the same time. Jokes aside, first impressions matter. A simple, genuine greeting can go a long way in setting the tone for good service. I sincerely hope that, in the future, your team might try the radical new concept of actually appearing glad that customers are there

Get my element and 3sixty bike from here few days ago. The staffs were helpful and mechanic worked fast. It has so much different types of bikes and no matter you pay for them, it is all very high quality. They also providing bicycle track, so you can try your bike easily.. What a nice and wonderful experience indeed. Good service!

(I didn't get his name) There is a friendly malay staff who professionally helped us and he is knowledgeable. We are first time buyer and Its a birthday gift to our friend. But the Disappointment is when after purchased the bicycle, another staff helped us to fold the bicycle for us to bring it back home. It didn't fold and close properly as he say this model design is like that and say that we need to adjust the handle bar lower near to the ground. After went out of shop, we saw that maybe the position of bicycle bell hinder the magnet closing part. Went back in and tell him. Just this moment, a more elder man in grey tee came and try to fix it But he fix it in a very Rough way by keep turning the pedal and handle bar which cause alot of knocking and banging sound. Just before i could check and tell him, he walk away when the friendly and knowledgeable malay staff came to help. He is the saviour, he softly adjust it and explain how it works professionally. Its done, close perfectly. I totally forget about the elder man who roughly knock and bang and we happily bring it home. Take the lift downstair, call a cab, reach home within 15mins and i saw all these scratches!! Faint. Just purchased and Never even ride out before. Called them tell them about the scratches which should be cause by the elder man, asked if able to change another one as it was bad handling by the elder man. Send them the photos but they reply cannot change. Overall experience there is good, malay staff is good, but the bad handling by the elder man and cant change is a big disappointment. Count myself unlucky for the moment the elder man handle it. Its a gift for someone and thanks for these experience.

Came here to mod my 3sixty bike. While it was somewhat pricey (I changed EVERYTHING on my bike except the chasis) at 800++, it was legit good, and damn good service. Damn fast also (almost 1 working day turn around). Mechanic took the time to understand my riding patterns and frequency, took notice of the feel and look I am trying to achieve, and took time to explain technical stuff (but be warned, it’s good to know what you’re getting yourself into, if not you’ll have buyer’s remorse). He is an avid foldie, hence. He got me what i wanted, a fresh, lighter/commutable ride, and even made it MORE enjoyable and faster (which i didn’t ask for and didn’t knew i needed).

Purchase a Java Zelo bike from them via online platform. Bike delivered to me on the second day. The packaging wasn’t the right one for bike, bike frame and wheel got scratches. Feedback to sales team and they ask me to bring down to their place to exchange. However, the sales person replied via WhatsApp that most of their Java bikes have scratches and that I choose the one most acceptable to myself to change into. I was truly disappointed. Shouldn’t a brand new bike be just that? Why do I deserve bike with blemish. Worse still, sales person blame it on the manufacturer. I am buying from Bikerepublic, NOT the manufacturer! Yes it’s a budget bike, but shouldn’t I be given a good bike? The Onus is on them to ensure blemish free bike to its customers! Please be aware of such potential pitfalls! I DoN’t recommend this shop to others.
