We had a 100-foot oak tree that needed to be removed in our back yard, and it was complex and difficult job, requiring two big cranes over a three-week period. Lucas and his team were fantastic! They were meticulous in ensuring nothing was damaged, and they cleaned up everything like they weren’t even there. Lucas stuck to the original estimate even though the job turned out to be more difficult than estimated. Lucas kept us informed of the schedule at every step and made every deadline he promised. I would gladly hire him and his team again, and our neighbors where so impressed they hired him to take out a huge tree in their backyard.

My mom had two large cottonwoods that had rot in them, along with a half dozen smaller ones. All were close to her barn and carriage shed. Luke gave me a bid that included removing all the debris. His team came in and worked throughout the day to bring down the trees and clean up the debris. Luke made sure that my Mom was satisfied with the clean up and even offered to bring out a flailing mower to mow the blackberry brambles free of charge. I was very impressed by Luke and his team's work ethic, safety measures, and striving to make sure the job was done to Mom's satisfaction. Thank you Luke!

Let me preface my comments by saying I have extensive experience in this industry. I became acquainted with Big's when he was subcontracted to a local excavating contractor on a different project. I was impressed then. The need arose to have a quick response for this job to remove a failing very old schoolmarm White Oak. The tree was separating at the base and was adjacent to a livestock barn. I had chains and load binders helping to hold it together until the job was complete. Luke's crew on this day were Dan, Nick, Clinton, and Alan from Alpine Crane. The job was executed in the best of ways. Luke is well-equipped for dangerous and major take downs. This was a first class job well done by a pro outfit. I could not be any happier about their performance from start to clean up.

I have used Big's Tree service for trimming/clean-up projects and then for an urgent clean up of a tree that fell over. The work of Luke and his team is top-notch. They are friendly, professional, and expeditious--oh, and reasonably priced! I can't recommend these guys enough.

We just had a huge fir tree crash down on our house in a windstorm (12/17), and Big's responded to our 2:00 AM call by coming out at dawn to assess the situation. By late morning, their crew was cutting the tree off the roof, and by the next day, had chipped and disposed of a lot of the debris. Because of their attentive and rapid response, the damage was much more limited to the corner of the roof that was hit first. If we had waited for someone "average" to show up, monsoons of water would have flooded our house and we would have much worse damage. They were very professional, and cut the tree in such a way as to minimize further damage. Highly recommend Luke and Big's Tree Service!

Luke and the whole crew were friendly, efficient, and professional - not always easy qualities to combine. Email correspondence went well and questions in person got answers. It was amazing to see what the equipment and men could accomplish together in a morning. Recommend and will use again.

It has taken me a long time to finally let go of our 70 foot Sweetgum trees and trust me, I have cried buckets over it, but they had severely buckled our public sidewalk and it was dangerous. But I was deeply grateful that I selected the best company and best crew for the removal. From the quick response of Luke in getting me a bid, to listening to me to leave the stumps till next year so my grandchildren could build a small structure on them over the winter, to scheduling an appointment within a few days. The skill set of the crew was amazing. We are gardeners and not one leaf on our other plants or property was touched during the removal or clean up. Also the crew did everything with safety in mind for them as well as our property. I have done dozens of projects in my lifetime and there usually is something that goes wrong, but this one was absolutely perfect and the cleanup couldn't have been done better. Wonderful experience......except I miss those trees deep in my soul. Bobbie

A big thank you to Lucas and his team for all the work they did. Several trees are much better off now and a 8' tall "stump" is gone leaving a perfect garden space for next year. I couldn't be happier and would recommend them without question.

Wow. Incredible service. Not only was Luke quick and efficient but he and his assistant cleaned up so our yard looks untouched. I was also super impressed with his extensive knowledge of trees. I learned a lot and enjoyed the show.

I have used Big's Tree service for two projects now. Both times they arrived on time, did excellent work, left the place cleaner than it was when they got there and were incredibly friendly.
