Johnny and his team did an amazing job dropping our 40ft sweet gum tree right where we wanted it to fall, and without even touching another tree in the yard. His guys were polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring them back in the future.

We had a fantastic experience with Big South Land and Tree. Johnny came out to look at two trees we needed cut down and our two giant river birch trees we needed trimmed. Johnny was incredibly knowledgeable as a certified arborist and walked us through our options without high-pressure tactics. His pricing was extremely competitive, and his crew was remarkably professional. They were safety conscious and took all necessary precautions when dropping two trees with their ropes and harnesses. And the trees in front of our house look better than I imagined! I had no idea they could be cleaned up so well. The limbs were messy and had a ton of volume drooping down. We had to duck when cutting the grass on a riding mower. I was also super impressed that they put down pads on our yard for the heavy equipment so they didn’t mess up my grass, and they cleaned up like they were never even there! I would highly recommend Big South to anyone who needs their trees done!

Always stressful going into the unknown trying to find a good service provider but look no further! Johnny was extremely quick to respond and came out onsite before I even received a response from two other providers. He was very knowledgeable and quick to provide very open recommendations to meet my intent and not routed in financial gain. The team showed up promptly and were quick to begin work. They dropped three large trees with great accuracy and thinned out years worth of neglect in the woods. The crew did a great job taking care of the front grass and cleaned up as good as my landscape guy. I'm a big fan of supporting local businesses so I can't recommend Big South enough for those in Jackson Country and surround areas.

Called alot of people to get some trees cut down. None showed up then called big south tree they came out talked to my wife because I was working. Marked the trees that needed to be cut gave a great estimate. Told them we would like to get it done. They came the next day did a great job. Did just what they said they would do. Very pleased and would and will use them again. If you need trees cut down this company is very professional in all ways. When you call they get right back to you and don't make you wait to see if you'll get a call back. The trees they cut were in the back yard in a fenced area close to fence and house. Did the job without any damage and no yard damage either. Great company. Give them a call.

Big South Land & Tree did a fabulous job taking out 8 trees in my yard. I had 4 water Oaks that were rotted or sick and 4 nuisance trees. The price was fair and very competitive. The work was meticulous. These gentlemen were polite, communicated well, cleaned up the work site as they went, were organized and on time! The 3stumps I had ground was just as good an experience. Clean, on time, left my yard better than he found it. I will definitely use this company again.

Big South came by the very next day and took down 3 massive trees close to my home in a very short period of time and at a great price! We didn’t requested clean up, but they left it in very manageable segments which will make my life so much easier. Everyone was super nice, and worked very well as a team. I will be using their services for any future tree removal! Looking forwards to all the sunlight coming through my kitchen windows, and not having to worry about a tree falling on my home.

He came out just as promised and checked out scope of work here, worked with me on my goals/budget; gave me an honest and great price. We scheduled the work and his crew arrived timely and started work. They knew what they were doing, completely professional, polite, with a focus on safety and quality work. They took down a huge sweet gum by my barn with such expertise / it dropped exactly where calculated. They care about trees too, so the trimmings helps the tree - not harms it. We had the pleasure of doing business with Big South Land & Tree. A tree had fallen on our trailer during a storm. They came out quickly and did a great job. They were able to remove the tree safely without causing any additional damage to our equipment. We truly appreciate their quick response time and excellent work!

Great service from beginning to end. Johnny gave us a good review (appreciate the Veteran's discount) His crew showed up on time and did an amazing job. They took out a huge pecan tree and did quite a bit of pruning. They were quick and very efficient. Most of all, they cleaned up after themselves. Also they worked very hard to protect my yard as they worked. Strongly recommend.

Big South Land & Tree gets 5 gold stars from us. We live out of state and needed 7 trees removed as soon as possible for my wife’s father in Braselton (due to an HOA complaint). After calling the Big South office and explaining our situation, Johnny called me back almost immediately. He was super nice and fully understood our predicament. He was willing to take the trees down the very next day, but heavy rain prevented that. So, he got to them the day after. Not only were all 7 trees removed, but the stumps were ground as well. His prices are very reasonable too. If you are needing any tree service, I highly recommend you call Big South. We are very grateful to have found them and will absolutely be calling them for any future tree work.
