Big Mike's Bar and Grill

We stopped by Big Mikes after seeing a Facebook post that they had just opened! We got fries, tots, onion rings and a Trash Plate! They food was very good, trash/garbage plate was so much food and so good. The owners are very nice and inviting. Nate the bartender was super friendly and very attentive. To drink I got a Big Mike’s Sunset Smash it was good. The garbage plates have burger smash patties or zweigles. I heard them say they are starting Karaoke on Wednesday 12/10. For sure worth checking out! They have a very spacious bar and very spacious dining room. Bills Mafia Friendly!

Service was wonderful, our waiter Jordan did a fantastic job checking on us and making sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious, I had the chicken fried steak and no complaints. We ordered the poutine fries and they were really good. They could have used a tad bit more gravy but other than that very good. I had the espresso martini and chefs kiss! Very good, the bartender Nathaniel was amazing and very friendly. Overall I definitely recommend giving this new little place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing. Every bit was perfect (especially the food!!). The dijon mustard that comes with the pretzel bites is SO good The servers (Evan and Kat) are so nice!! It was truly amazing

Hey there! My husband and I went to Big Mikes a few weeks ago because it was recommended by my sister and her husband. We had a less than stellar experience, but the food was amazing! We gave a bad review and said we wouldn’t go back. Some co-workers asked if we’d join them at Big Mikes for dinner after work, so we said let’s give it another shot. Our second experience was a complete turnaround from the first! Summer was our waitress and she was training Ava… both were attentive and on point!! The Reuben egg rolls were ridiculously delicious! Jenny the owner came out and we told her we worked for Plano ISD Transportation and could she possibly give us little discount coupons we could share with our 400 employees so we could spread the word about Big Mikes. She immediately went and printed off coupons for 15%off!! I plan on sharing with not only my Transportation team but also the Plano ISD Facilities team! The drinks came out quickly, the scratch kitchen food DID NOT disappoint!! Everyone at our table had something different and everything was delicious! I am a chicken strip snob and Big Mikes has some of the best! My friend ordered the pork chop which she was told was about a 40 minute prep from start to finish. She was blown away by that pork chop! Highly recommend!! Live music was great…you could hear the music but still hold a conversation at your table because the music wasn’t too loud. Prices are very reasonable! We will definitely return, glad we gave Big Mikes a second chance. I’m looking forward to karaoke night and music bingo!

Big Mike’s Bar & Grill is a great spot with an awesome atmosphere. Food and drinks were solid, but what really makes this place special is the vibe. Perfect place to watch a Dallas Stars hockey game great screens, energetic crowd, and friendly staff. Such a fun, relaxed place to hang out. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had brunch here Saturday. He had the Big Mikes platter and I had the chicken quesadillas, the best I have ever had BTW, a few cocktails, they had a gentleman playing live music, food, atmosphere and staff were great! Looking forward to going back sooner than later!

Amazing experience, all the waiters are kind and nice they have interesting things to talk about as well and are pretty chill, the food is very good and the prices are nice as well, if your a student they have a discounted menu which is pretty sweet.

Big Mike’s has quickly become my go-to restaurant. The nachos alone are worth the visit. Perfectly loaded with fresh toppings, great flavor, and generous portions. You can tell real care goes into the food, not just thrown together like at a lot of places. The service has been awesome every time I’ve gone. The servers are friendly, attentive, and actually seem to enjoy being there, which makes a huge difference. Even when it’s busy, everything runs smoothly and you never feel forgotten. The atmosphere is another big win—fun, relaxed, and welcoming whether you’re out with friends, on a casual date, or just grabbing a bite at the bar. It’s also an excellent spot for watching games since there are TVs everywhere and you can catch just about any matchup without craning your neck. If you’re looking for great food, solid service, and a laid-back vibe, Big Mike’s is a spot you’ve got to try. I’ll definitely be back for those nachos again (and probably to work my way through the rest of the menu).

Big Mikes Review I am giving a second review of Big Mikes Bar & Grill. We went there a few months ago because we heard wonderful reviews from friends and family. We had a bad experience with service that evening and provided negative reviews on our experience. We decided to give them another chance. This last Friday night we had a completely different experience with service that was A+! The service from hostess’s, our waitress, other support servers and the owner was exceptional!!! Shout outs…Jenny the owner. She came to our table and was so nice and helpful. We explained our first negative experience and she admitted some struggles they had as a new business and have worked to improve. Summer. She was our waitress and she was so helpful and on point with service. New waitress Ava was in training and so helpful and fun. The food. Wow-the scratch kitchen food was all wonderful! Friday night was the fish platter special that I had and was awesome! All the drinks, appetizers and other entrees were spectacular! Friday night was live music night and was really good to provide a nice music vibe. Big Mike’s…great job and you hit a home run on making improvements in service. We will be back and will recommend to others!

We were really excited to try this new place! We were seated immediately, and the service was great. The food definitely missed the mark, however. We ordered chicken nachos and quesadillas. The quesadillas were so greasy, I had to use 4 very thick napkins to mop it up. They contained canned chicken with no spice and strips of onion that were almost raw. Came with salsa and sour cream. The nachos had the same unseasoned chicken, but were topped with cheese and jalapenos. The salsa was not spicy at all and had a pickly taste to it. This is Texas. We do flavor. I appreciate that they’re new and family owned. And I may try again once they are more established and have figured out the menu a little better. We were not upset in the least with our service but we’ll give the food some time before our second visit. We really did want to love it! 🩷
