Upon arrival, I was immediately told my appointment was canceled because I did not confirm, despite that I showed proof I had confirmed. Then, while I waited 25 minutes—having arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment as instructed—the aesthetician, Maria, who was assigned to me, simply mulled around and never approached me to begin my appointment. When I told her and the receptionist that I had to cancel my appointment as I could not wait any longer, Maria simply smiled at me and waved goodbye.
My experience there felt like overt discrimination at its best. Any woman who has even a modicum of social conscience might want to spend their money elsewhere, at one of the many fine salons in Westchester County.
