First visit today. Brock Pominville was very attentive and helpful in making my first session a great one. He directly addressed my concerns and gave me some exercises to perform at home. Better Life Physical Therapy lives up to its name. Since I became injured, they have completely helped me in many ways that I couldn't have imagined. I've heard horror stories about worker's comp facilities not listening to the patient's needs. I felt heard from intake, meeting with the physician Katelyn and Dr. Corbin the Physical Therapist. This place has wonderful and I mean wonderful staff. Dr. Corbin has made this process very easy with his knowledge and nurturing approach. The massage therapist are top tier. Renee has healing hands of an angel. Maria and Leah are very talented therapist that offer an approach that will have you moving like you weren't injured to begin with. James and Brock will have you working on your form correctly and educate you as well which I love. Dr. Mitko, a Physical Therapist, is very knowledgeable as well. He has the best stories and a gentle approach. In my opinion in doesn't matter who works with you, they all have the same approach which is to put the patient first.

Better life Physical Therapy has given me a new lease on life! After literally limping around for years, my mobility was getting much worse. It was an effort just get through the day. After seeing a podiatrist, an orthopedic surgeon and years of adjustments by a chiropractor, I was directed to Better Life. Finally I was the one that put the equation together: The right side of my body was severely out of alignment, yet none of the “professionals “ I had seen even considered a body part outside of their area of certification, or that my ailments might be connected! But upon my very first appointment, Dr Corbin assured me that he could help me, and wouldn’t be surprised if I could feel the difference after the first appointment… and he was right on. He told me it was going to take awhile, but I would feel better and I would regain my mobility. I have been working with James who listens to my feedback, is very knowledgeable and caring. His passion for what he does for you really shines through. I am so encouraged as I have been improving steadily. I have more endurance throughout the day and my stamina has increased hugely. This body may have a few miles on it, but I truly believe that with the treatment I am receiving I am taking care of myself in a way that honors my/The creator.

Corbin and his staff brought me from searing pain and inability to walk more than a few feet to a functional person. Through use of myofascial release and individualized exercises, the physical therapists at Better Life Physical Therapy and Wellness gave me the relief that five prior therapists were unable to. I write this review with pleasure and gratitude. Dr. Corbin is absolutely the best and helped fix my discomfort when no one I had seen before was able to help. I had been experiencing pain, tightness, and nerve related symptoms (hand tremors) for months, initially caused from 3 bulging discs in my neck. I had seen multiple professionals to try and seek help. I knew Dr. Corbin would be amazing from the moment I spoke with him on the phone. He took the time to really listen to my symptoms and explain what was happening. He was confident he could help me and he did! I was feeling like myself again after just the first session. He also treated my husband who has been dealing with tightness and discomfort due to an old injury. He is now feeling the best he has in years! We could not be more grateful for Dr. Corbin’s care, knowledge, and expertise!

After injuring my knee with a torn meniscus, I was looking for a physical therapy practice that would work with me to try to heal it without surgery (having had prior knee surgeries). I found that at Better Life! I feel so fortunate to have found this place, and in particular, Brock, who has taught me so much about proper walking, effective (but simple) exercises that make a difference both in recovery and prevention, and just ways to improve my overall health. When I arrived, I had pain just in everyday walking, and within 2 sessions, I could not believe the improvement! I was able to walk normally again, with minimal pain. A few months later I was 99% back to where I was before the injury, with just an occasional flare-up. I HIGHLY recommend Better Life. It has become a real challenge finding any kind of medical facility that will take Department of Labor insurance, and even when you finally find a place you are treated less important than others using private insurance. After suffering for almost two years with multiple surgeries and having to deal with all the paperwork myself, I finally stumbled onto Better Life Federal Injury Center. FINALLY. Not only does this place have experienced therapists that actually care about working one on one with their patients, they also give Federal employees the time they need in their sessions to fully recover. Ever since I found this place I haven't had to deal with the paperwork, they know what they are doing and they submit everything for you EXACTLY how the DOL demands it. This in itself has relieved me of so much unnecessary stress. Because of Better Life, I was able to see a new surgeon (that they found for me), get an accurate diagnosis (after suffering two surgeries by my last surgeon), get a malpractice lawyer, a monthly visit with their brilliant physician (on-site) Katelyn Herstein, and most important, the feeling that I matter as a patient, I sadly haven't felt this way for the past two years. Every service you could possibly need has already been carefully thought of, gathered, and organized for your convenience and use by Dr. Corbin Pominville. He has gathered the most highly skilled and knowledgeable physical therapists around to work you through your pain and healing process. The two professionals I see the most at better Life are James (physical therapist) and Renee (message therapist). Renee has the hands of an angel and really understands how to work on people with chronic pain. I always leave her massage table feeling better then when I walked in, she has a way of making you feel really comfortable around her. James has really helped me re-learn how to use my leg again, like Renee, he has a gentle touch (don't let them muscles fool you) when he works with you hands on, he finds out where the pain is, listens, and teaches you how to overcome it. I couldn't be more grateful to have found Better Life Federal Injury Center. If you are a federal employee, I highly recommend leaving the place you're currently receiving treatment and coming over to Better Life, a place where you matter FIRST as a patient.
