This place is an absolute joke, we went to buy a washer and dryer along with a refrigerator. We paid the full amount the day we went and scheduled delivery 4 days later. We moved a little bit more than an hour from Manassas but I was very clear when I asked about delivery and the person in charge told me they would do it without a problem. We still live in Manassas and we drove to the new house to wait for delivery and the person in charge of the store called me an hour later than agreed on the day of delivery and said, "Sorry my friend, we have to reschedule your delivery , I don't have delivery staff.” We got very frustrated because we were coming from work and he didn't take the time to inform us early, or he simply wouldn't have committed to doing it, and on top of that he was making excuses over excuses and wasn't trying to solve the problem, in the end he was trying to say that "it was too far and no one wanted to go that far." I was asking for a refund and he was complicating everything, he went back and forth with "his boss" and it was even worse. He should have been clearer from the beginning, and we wouldn't have minded picking up the appliances ourselves, but he was just trying to charge more and make more profit on the delivery charge and in the end we, as customers, were the hardest hit.

Great place to do business with! I have personally purchased 5 appliances of different kinds from them over the years with great success. I was referred to this business originally from many coworkers with similar experiences. Friendly customer service and prices that can't be beat! I will return for future appliance repairs or replacements.

Bought a fridge from there in September, the store was so packed with appliances I could barely open the doors halfway. He pushed, shoved, and dragged the fridge from inside to outside. Despite that we kept telling him we would help him get it outside. During this he bent the legs of the fridge. When I pointed that out he told me they weren't bent they just needed to be adjusted. He got it right outside of the door and then locked up the shop several minutes early. The legs were very warped and twisted from being dragged so roughly it wouldn't sit level or even adjust to be level. We had to use tools and adjust it to get it as level as we could. I figured the cheap prices came with dismal customer service. But now it's not working, within 5 months of purchase. A whole fridge full of groceries have gone bad now on top of this.

I had a great experience buying a dryer at Better Appliances in Manassas? They were patient and knowledgeable while helping me find the dryer I needed. We tested it there and it ran fine. When I got it home one of the settings wasn't working right. I called and explained, and they sent someone to fix it in a HALF AN HOUR from when I called!! AMAZING! It was a very small problem and now it works great! I still can't believe how good the customer service was. I would definitely buy there again.

I needed a washing machine for king size comforter and also wanted it brand new. I found a really nice 5.3 LG under scratch and ding and was happy with the condition. I checked on my phone and it was fairly priced compared to new ones but I noticed some of the new ones are priced the same as Home Depot or on LG website also priced the same at the time maybe they had sales going on. I unfortunately didn’t plug it in and check to see if it turned on, so I took it home same day on my truck gave it a cleaning and when I tried to plug it in did not turn on. I tried everything until I decided to call the store and speak with the one in charge. I was able to get on the phone same day with the same guy who helped me pay. He said he can exchange for another one the next day cause they were closing. Next day I show up and they did have another LG unit but it was much smaller and wouldn’t work for my sheets. I had tried to look around for one I saw the day before but it was sold! Thank fully I was able to ask for a refund only because the product was defective and they didn’t have a similar model. Be aware on the receipt it says sold as is no returns, try and look online with the model number for a price idea of a new one, check to see if it works, check for all dings but they do give warranty’s on some items and they are willing to help the customer if it makes sense. If you buy something it last a year it won’t apply but this was my experience buying my first washing machine, I would go back if I had to just do your research

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! They gave us a stackable Washer and dryer the Dryer won’t even work and didn’t even come with a filter they told me they would swap it out for another Dry the next day. Well the next day gets here and I call them No answer? Then he texts me can’t talk call u later he never called . The washer works but it leaks in the front from the door frame! My husband called and talk to the same guy that taxed me and sold them to us and He acted like he didn’t no what my husband was talking about, OH LETS NOT FOR GET THEY HAVE OUR WASHER ! Witch there supposed to BRING BACK ! **The positive thing is they have nice delivery people.

I’ve been coming for awhile now. Staff is very friendly and they will glad to work with you. Kind man spent about 15-20 mins to help me pick out the appliances I needed for great prices!! I always come back because of their great prices and long lasting appliances. I had the same microwave for 7.5 years from them but I recently got a new one. They also have great priced appliances which has slightly damage like dents/scratches but works just like new! This place is my go to appliances for great price for sure! I love BA

I bought a washer and dryer but then couldn't use it as my complex changed their mind. I contacted better appliances the next day to refund my money. They said they would take care of it. That was 10 days ago. I contacted them twice since then and the said they did refund it. They haven't sent me out any notice showing the refund and my credit card company hasn't been sent anything either. They said they usually receive it with 2-3 business days and takes another 2-3 to process it. Well it's been ten so it's obvious they haven't tried to return it yet and they're not answering their phone. Update: it wasn't until I left this review that they called me and sent the text confirmation of a refund. Again 10 days later.

I bought a refurbished fridge from this place at a bargain price. The deal was so good. Even the fridge works well. But the customer service was horrible. They were so rude in talking. I have never used strap to tie up the fridge on the back of pick up truck before. I asked them to help me to use it properly. The guy at cashier was busy at his cell phone, didn’t even looked at me and after 30 seconds told me “If you don’t know how to use, why did you bring it?” I told him that he is being rude with me. Then he asked his helper to help us. His helper was such a short tempered guy, difficult to deal with. He went up in the pick up truck and made me hook the strap, tight it on the other side. The way he was treating me was like a boss ordering his employees in rude manner. When I missed what he told me to do, he yelled at me. I was helpless. I felt so bad. Though I got the fridge in cheap price, these guys hurt me with words. The worst ever customer service experienced in my life time. This is the reason I rated this place with one star only. I’m never going back to this place again. I would prefer to pay extra bucks and go to Home Depot/ Lowe’s or other stores now on. Give respect to the customers please.
