I purchased a GE refrigerator from Better Appliance in December 2023. Problems from the start. Delivery guys forgot handles = 4 days without handles. No biggie, I pulled the fridge open from the top. Now, 5 months later, the GE fridge from Better Appliance is not keeping things cold. I called Better Appliance to obtain help - -guy answered the phone told me to call GE service, there's nothing he can do. I call GE service. First 'tech' shows up, hooks up the ipad to the fridge, says it's showing that it's blowing cold air. I point out to him that internal temp is 42 degrees. He says oh well I guess we can replace the board. If that doesn't work, I dunno. Part arrives two days later, a different 'tech' named Ali arrives several days after that. Replaces the board, hooks up his ipad to the fridge, says it will take 48 hours for fridge to get cold. I say but it's already at 42 degrees, why will it take that long to get to the requested 34 degrees? He gives me a blank look & shrugs. These 'techs' are parts changers, nothing more, zero analytical abilities, zero initiative to resolve the problem, zero actual skills with tools. Fridge is still at 42 degrees with new board installed. I have placed a third service call. I want the unit out of here & my money refunded by Better Appliance. That's fair. This GE fridge is junk.
