CONGRATS to the Nauman's on the sale of their 🏡 in Elgin 🍾!
Robert was raised in this house and then after he got married, he and Darlene raised their own beautiful family in this 🏡. Having been in the home since basically 1962, there were many memories made, hearts broken & problems worked through in this home among this loving family ~ it was a tremendous pleasure hearing the stories, reading the framed newspapers from 1919 that were found in the home (ladies, let's just say we have come a LONG way since then!) & helping guide them through minor updates that would get the most bang for their 💸! & what a success it was ~ Receiving multiple offers within the first weekend it was listed & accepting an offer over asking price ~ BUT the drama didn't end there, hurdle after hurdle hit us with this sale including an appraisal that came in short just days before closing (thank goodness we had negotiated appraisal gap coverage with the buyers prior to the contract signing‼️) & conventional loan appraisal inspection issues that required a night-time painting session by my sellers and a standing on her car to tape over a hole in the siding by the buyer's agent (unbeknownst to me at the time!) the night before closing ~ it TRULY took a TEAM to make this happen & although I know the sale is bitter-sweet for the Nauman's, I know this 🏡 will be loved by its new family 💞
