Ben Venuti have just opened a new branch in Wimbledon so we popped down to try it recently. They pride themselves in allowing guests to experience a slide of Italy in London and they truly do just that.
We were served by the friendliest lady who was very knowledgable about all the different meats, cheese and products on offer. She made some excellent recommendations and we tried the most delicious selection of cured meats, cheeses, sandwiches and sweet treats. My top 4 absolute must-try’s are the truffle pecorino cheese, the tiramisu, the pistachio cannoli and the courgette sandwich. These were all DIVINE - rich and lovely and filled with flavour.
