This place is the best! My husband and I have been taking our dog Frank to Bellevue Pet Spa for a few years and we couldn’t be happier with the services provided. Frank has trauma from a grooming incident as a puppy (he hates the groomer) and it took us a long time to find a place that would work with him. Thank you so much for everything! Before and after pics below!

I strongly do NOT recommend this place. My dog is naturally very calm, but she would SHAKE and CRY when we arrived here, which a clear sign something was wrong. The male groomers there are rude, impatient, and clearly don't have the temperament to work with long-hair dogs. To make matters worse, their pricing is completely dishonest; they charge whatever they want without any prior notice or transparency. Save your money and take your pets somewhere they will actually be treated with kindness.

Second Update: Some quick tips for better business income 😉 Just tell dog owners their dog’s fur is “matted to the skin”, so the only option is to shave it — oh, and of course, charge a higher price 😘 If a customer hasn’t been to your shop for a few months, simply assume they never groomed their dog at all. Very reasonable, right? Then you can generously “discuss options” with them ❤️ (AKA: make them pay extra for the time they didn’t spend at your shop.) ❤️Brilliant business model: create problems first, then sell the solution❤️ Update: OMG what a liar!! First of all, my dog is a girl, not him. We've been sending her to you for grooming several times and you don't even know her gender. You guys really care about dogs not money huh🤔? Are you implying that my dog has not been bathed for 5 months?? Lol, she was groomed at somewhere else for the past five months and she is well cared, well loved, not matted not tangled. You saying that because you don't want to do the service since that's not easy money or because you simply trying to make more money. Well, at lease my dog had a great day since she hates your place, she keeps shaking every time when she enters your store. BTW, after I share my bad experience with one of my samoyed friends, she told me you guys charged her $350 this week for grooming her samoyed because ‘matted’ ‘tangled’. Wow why those words sound so familiar to me? do you use those words to every Samoyed owner? I’m so glad I didn’t stay and listen to you options, otherwise more time wasted🥹 Original Comment: Very unprofessional. When we arrived at our appointment, staff complained about my Samoyed’s winter coat too thick and said they couldn’t wash her, dry her and brush her, unless they shaved her. Samoyeds are supposed to have thick fur in winter time. If you can’t handle large double-coat breeds, just say so when we book the appointment — don’t shame the customer, waste our time. It felt like they only want “easy money” from small dogs now and no longer care about proper service. Won’t be back.

My dogs have been groomed at Bellevue Pet Spa for over three years. Over this time, I've been consistently happy with the grooming and communication with the staff. Both dogs were over 16. One dog died unexpectedly ten months ago and the other just recently after suffering from a prolonged illness. Michelle, and team, took great care of my pup as her illness progressed. I appreciate the sensitivity and care given to my dog is the last months of her life.

Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism and cruelty that we experienced. Within a few minutes of leaving the spa I noticed my dogs’ eye was swollen and shut closed. I took a closer look and it was completely swollen and bloody. I called back asking for an explanation as to why I was not notified that my her eye had been cut and was told a complete lie and had the blame put on me. Disgusting behavior on the groomers part (not the owner who usually cuts her hair). I understand that accidents happen but they must be handled appropriately with the owner notified and the groomer takes responsibility

I've been taking my Cavapoo, Maisy, to Raiya at Bellevue Pet Spa for a few years. She is wonderful and gentle, and does a lovely job with Maisy. All the staff are friendly, and I'm able to specify length of cut for both body and paws. It feels really reassuring that Maisy is somewhere that I feel comfortable. Thank you, Raiya and Bellevue Pet Spa!

This was probably the first professional grooming my rescue dog, Casper, has ever had. He was nervous, and so was I. He looked great and didn’t seem traumatized, which was my greatest worry. Sean did a lovely job and listened when I said I didn’t want my cute, scruffy little street dog to look too “GQ.” Sean struck just the right balance…cared for, but not too pampered.

Disappointed to say the least just paid for a full grooming for my dog to be washed and blow dried. Will not be coming back much better groomers in Bellevue. My dog looks like this when I give her a bath and comb her…. Not sure where the grooming took place exactly. Claimed they have her a “trim” not sure what exactly took 2 hours to trim. I could have done a better job myself. Picture on the right is her normally. Basically paid for a blow out. Update: **Rating: ☆☆☆☆** 0 stars I had an extremely disappointing experience at Bellevue Pet Spa. I was essentially scammed into paying for a haircut for my dog, only to find out she wasn't even groomed properly despite being there for 4 hours. I was promised a call from the manager the next day, but I never received it. I had to follow up myself, and when I finally spoke with the manager, he was very nonchalant and did not offer any resolution, such as a new haircut with a different groomer or any kind of free treatment. This has been one of the worst grooming experiences I've had in the area. I do not recommend Bellevue Pet Spa to anyone.

I’ve been bringing my 4yr old Havanese here for the past year, her hair requires frequent maintenance and Bellevue Pet Spa always does an amazing job, they are very accommodating to my specific preferences for her cut. My dog gets very anxious around new people but Sean and the entire staff is super friendly and I always trust them to take care of my sweet pup!

Bellevue pet spa demanded I pay more than an agreed price for service, then refused to return my dog until I gave them the money. Avoid this business. Do not trust them with your dog. They might extort you. I had been taking my dog to Bellevue Pet Spa for 2+ years without problem until a month ago. They ran 90+ minutes late in getting my dog back to me, which forced me to take a meeting with a VP from their parking lot, and the haircut they gave my dog was terrible. Long tufts of hair stuck out from between her toes, her arm pits, her undercarriage - it looked like a 6th grader had groomed my dog. I asked them if they would make it right. They said they would, but it took a month to schedule because they closed for 4 days, kept dropping me off their email responses, + my kid got an ear infection and my car broke down - life happens. But we finally got the touch up rescheduled. When I showed up, they asked what I was in for. I said to fix the last bad haircut. They said ok. Then when I came back for my dog, they wanted to charge full price. I was floored. The appointment had been scheduled on an email thread where they’d promised a free touch up. I even reiterated that this is what I was there for at dropoff and they said they understood. But then at pickup they wanted to charge full price for fixing their own mistakes? It took minutes of arguing with them before they said the best they could do was offer a 50% discount. They claimed their touch up policy has a 14-day window, something that was never mentioned until pickup. They claimed they’d tried to call my wife 3 times to schedule, but my wife had never received a phone call. When I told them this needed to be free or I wouldn’t come back, they told me I wasn’t welcome back. When I asked if I could have my dog back, they refused to return my dog until I paid what at this point felt like a ransom. I was standing there thinking, “Who do I call when my groomer kidnaps my dog? Do I call the police for that? What if I walk out the door? Would they send my dog to a pound?” But I also knew I had a child to pick up from daycare and couldn’t waste more time with these crooks. So I paid their extortion and left. Don’t trust this business with your dog. You never know when they’ll demand a sudden price increase if you ever want to see your dog again.
