This driveway on Fair Ave. in Davenport, Iowa project involved much more than simply pouring new concrete. The existing driveway had serious drainage and grading problems that were allowing water to collect near the garage and retaining wall. Over time, the excess water and poor drainage contributed to movement and shifting of the retaining wall while also creating water issues around the garage structure.
Our crew removed the failing concrete, corrected the grading, rebuilt sections of the retaining wall, and installed a new reinforced concrete driveway designed to properly move water away from the structure rather than trapping it against the property.
