Parging involves applying a thin coat of mortar to the exterior of a foundation wall. First, the foundation is carefully excavated and cleaned. Then a specialized mortar mix is applied by hand to seal cracks, smooth surfaces, and strengthen the wall. Once cured, this protective layer creates a durable barrier against moisture while also improving the appearance of the foundation.
