Melissa (the Owner) of Beehive Bespoke Beauty Studio was not only knowledgeable and kind, she also completely transformed my daughter's hair. We called on a Sunday and had us in that day, only a few hours later. My daughter's hair was absolutely awful from a previous cut the day before. Melissa made time out of her schedule with understanding, warmth and empathy towards our situation and welcomed us right in. She is incredibly educated on cutting hair, styles, and is skilled and precise. We are very grateful for her fixing our daughter's hair so quickly. It looks wonderful! Melissa is excellent! Melissa a real artist. Having been to many salons across this country I can honestly say she is a real jewel in Carmel Valley! First time doing my color and she nailed it! She has a great warm, loving spirit that makes the entire experience a complete home run!

I’ve been getting my haircut at the bee hive for a couple years now and am never disappointed with the service I receive from Melissa. She’s aways very thorough with my cut and currently manages my head full of Cowlicks with ease. The environment at the studio is always inviting and a great place for conversation and self-care. I’m a huge fan of Beehive’s talented owner/operator, Melissa! HUGE!! Her expertise and ability to cut/style my super-straight, fine hair so it is easy-care, flattering, age-appropriate, and professional has earned my loyalty year after year. She capably (and painlessly) has taken me through highlight transitions to natural grey, growing out layers, and repeated bobs that retain shape and swing for weeks. The shop is cozy and comforting. I absolutely loved my experience at the Beehive! I got a makeup and hair service done and couldn't have been happier. Melissa was so great and even her company was so nice. We chatted the whole time and she was so polite and understanding. Besides the social factor, she did an awesome job on my hair and makeup! I love it so much and would highly recommend. :)

I will forever recommend Melissa to every and ANYONE. She was able to give me exactly what I wanted even when I was unsure of what that was! She made me feel so comfortable while in her chair and treated me like a queen. She really took my service experience to the next level and treated me with the utmost care. Melissa saved the day when a stylist for a wedding I was in canceled last minute. Not only did she do beautiful hair & makeup that lasted all day and night, she was lovely company too. Highly recommend! My hair doesn’t curl well but it didn’t move after she did the updo.

My hair was ruined! Melissa has no idea how to color hair. Her response to my review is untrue. I have video and photo proof of her failure. She ruined my hair and failed to correct it. I have all of the text, pictures, etc. IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAIR, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE!!! Almost 1 year later, and my hair is still extremely damaged because if this experience. It is my opinion that a stylist should tell a client up front, if they are not going to be able to complete the service as agreed. Worst hair experience of my life!!!
