Our daughter loved Bee In The Woods. She always ran in enthusiastically at drop off to meet everyone. The staff have been great, and we've noticed our daughter gained so much more confidence, both physically and academically. Her drawing, writing, maths and phonics have all improved ready for school. At the end of each day, we also got a lot of photos and feedback through the app which was great to look at. I initially had some worries about an outdoor setting all year round, but they have backup plans for extreme weather and it's been fantastic for her development. Can't reccomend it enough!

My daughter just loves these holiday Forest Schools, she comes home full of stories about her days, new songs learnt and a good dose of mud on her clothes - a sign of fun in our book. The teachers are so kind and welcoming, the space is magical, can't recommend it highly enough - get your finger on the button, places fly like hot cakes!

We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for making A's first week at Bee in the Woods such a brilliant experience. She has LOVED it! Thank you for your calm approach, for all the time you have for the children and for all your hard work in setting up such wonderful activities. I know how exhausting working with young kids can be, you three are an inspiration!

Our little boy spent 2 years at the wonderful bee in the woods. During that time he has developed such great relationships with the educators and of course the little bees ( the children). He has learnt so much about nature and enjoyed child led imaginative play, climbing , face painting ,the mud kitchen and just generally being outside. Our family will remember his time there forever. I would recommend it to anyone.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful time and guidance with D over the last two years. Your woods have been the most amazing and magical place to grow and we can't thank you enough for everything that you have all done. Wriggly and Rob have been such nurturing and fabulous key staff to D, he loves them completely. I can’t express how amazing it has been to drop our son off and just know how well he is looked after, just how much fun he is having and that he couldn’t have been in a better place with better people. It's going to be so hard to move on, what can compare to Bees. I am so glad that there’s holiday club so we will get to see you all again. I am so sad this chapter of Dylan’s life is over but he is very ready and excited for the next chapter and that’s because he was so well prepared by you all. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the lovely party yesterday. It was a perfect mix of time for the kids to explore the activities and time to come together for snacks or a song. My 2 year old was singing 'welcome to the woods' all afternoon and T said he didn't want the day to end because it had been so brilliant.

We’ve been attending Bees in the Woods playgroup sessions in Stanmer park for a few years and both kids are in their element in the woods. Lucy and the team are child centred and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet the needs of children attending the holiday club to ensure it is inclusive. The site in Portslade is so well set up and my eldest was excited to attend each day. The option to extend the holiday club session until 4pm is particularly useful for working parents and carers.

A magical setting, incredible professionals. The team at Bees in the wood go above and beyond for the children and parents. My little boy absolutely loves it there, they explore and they learn through play, stories and discoveries. The whole team lead with their hearts- incredible place and highly recommend.

A wonderful place that feels magical. Bugs, mud, fires, flowers, trees, building, cooking, singing, climbing and a whole lot more. The debrief we get everyday from our daughter is amazing and full of enthusiasm for the next day.

Everyday, when I pick my daughter up from this magical forest kindergarten, I ask her: 'how was it?' and, with rosy red cheeks and a wide smile, she says: 'great'! This place is special: fresh air, mud kitchens, music, play, stories and real freedom all warmly delivered by Lucy and her wonderful team. What's not to love?
