We had BearHand Construction rebuild our staircase to match the new hardwood floors upstairs after removing the old carpet, and they also coordinated refinishing our downstairs floors so everything tied together. The final result is absolutely beautiful — it looks like it was always meant to be this way. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really show. Aside from the quality of the finished product, what impressed me most was how they handled everything behind the scenes. Any issues that came up were managed quickly and seamlessly. They were always on top of it. Their communication was outstanding — we were kept informed at every step and never felt stressed about the process. It’s clear they take pride in their work and in making sure their customers are happy. We’re genuinely excited about how much this improved our home and would gladly work with BearHand again. We used BearHand Construction to complete our restaurant renovations in Milford, NH. As we are new business owners and this was our first ever remodeling project, I was nervous in the beginning but they walked us through the process and really liked their creativity with the space and budget we had. The final results are Amazing and customers cannot believe it's the same place when they walk in. We get compliments all the time on the bar and all of the custom woodwork and tile. BearHand recently finished our basement and did an amazing job. The owners, John and James, were organized, professional, respectful and had great communication throughout the process. They also had awesome suggestions for design ideas too. It’s hard to find good contractors and I’m so happy that we worked with them on this project. I’ve included some before and after photos.

BearHand just finished refinishing the basement level of my home after it was damaged in a flood. Their work was outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. James responding promptly to my initial inquiry and was out the following week to evaluate the job. Several days later he provided a detailed quote that was very fair. John ran the job, which was finished on time and on budget. Throughout the process they communicated often regarding progress, and accommodated three change orders without losing stride. I have dealt with many contractors over the years and I have never had a better experience. I would recommend them without any hesitation or reservation whatsoever!

A huge thank you to James, John, and all of the workers at BearHand Construction! Over the summer they converted our single, dated bathroom/laundry room into two lovely, modern, functional bathroom spaces. James created eight different design possibilities, and with some tweaking we were able to fit in all the features we wanted. Picking out fixtures, faucets, shower heads, and lighting prior to construction can be a bit overwhelming but James and John provided suggestions and specific websites to use. They provide a very detailed outline of all the work to be done and the cost associated with each item. Their contract is very detailed and is very fair to both parties. The work timeline provided was very helpful, especially since we couldn't live in our house while they were working. Our bathroom installations was projected to take 6 weeks. They were able to start 2 weeks early, and were finished exactly when they had projected. Since we were away, John sent us pictures of the progress, and contacted us whenever there was an issue or questions. We did stop in a couple of times unannounced and the workspace was neat, the workers were friendly and polite, and we were delighted with the progress they were making. There were a lot of cars and trucks at our house for a good part of the summer, and our neighbors had nothing but good things to say about everyone who worked on our house. We are so glad we chose Bearhand Construction for this project. The quality of their workmanship is topnotch, and we now have 2 beautiful bathrooms that we delight in showing our neighbors!
