Transforming NYC Apartments: Be Colouring Brings New Life to A Damaged Apartment.
Be Colouring just finished a project where we repaired wide, deep cracks and holes in concrete blocks around two living room and one kitchen window in an aging NYC apartment. The damage, caused by water seeping in between the facade, was so severe that you could actually see the metal beams in some places. That's how deep the damage was.
To repair the damage we first started off using QUIKRETE® Gray Concrete Crack Seal. Once the QUIKRETE® Gray Concrete Crack Seal cured we then began building to a smooth surface. The next layer we applied Sheetrock® Brand Plus 3® Joint Compound and let that dry overnight. On the final day we applied two coats of Sheetrock® Brand Easy Sand™ 20 Joint Compound to get to that nice smooth surface, and finito, no more ugly deep cracks to stare at.
