Bayou Bluegrass Catering

Bayou catered our wedding last weekend, they were fantastic. From the passed hors d’oeuvres, to our dinner, to the late night cheeseburgers and usherette service, the food was amazing! We had a mostly outdoor wedding and they did a fantastic job adapting to the space. We were blown away with how seamless the dinner service went. The food was absolutely amazing, everyone couldn’t believe how good it was! Plated dinners sometimes can turn out cold or dry, but the chicken and pork were perfectly cooked, the plating was stunning and everyone enjoyed. We had no concerns and because they were so on top of everything! We are forever grateful to have had bayou there, food is such an important part of weddings and we were just blown away overall!

We used Bayou Bluegrass Catering for my daughter’s wedding at Sunset Ridge Farm, and we couldn’t be happier. Both the Grazing Table and Taco Bar were absolutely excellent—guests kept telling us they were the best wedding food they’d ever had. The presentation was great and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The coordinators, Lacey Newman and John Newton, were fantastic to work with—organized, responsive, and always prompt with communication. They helped everything run smoothly from planning through the event. Highly recommend Bayou Bluegrass Catering for any wedding or celebration!

To have a person that realizes that this day is one of the most important days of your life. My one and son got married and Tyler from Bluegrass Bayou was wondering. He returned every call, he answered every question. The food was outstanding, every guests called to let me know it was wonderful. I had so many people wanting a to go box. If you ever want to make sure that the day is perfect please use Bluegrass Bayou.

We used Bayou for our wedding back in November, and they were incredible! Dana was so great to work with and the entire staff was so amazing the whole night! They worked so hard and the food was absolutely amazing! All of our guests went on and on about it being the best food they had ever had at a wedding and people are still asking us who we used and telling us how great it was! I cannot say enough good things and I 100% recommend using Bayou!

5 starts all the way around! Great communication, professional, and delicious! Lacey and Tyler did an amazing job catering our unique event at Trifecta: Glass-Art-Lounge! Super efficient set up and flawless clean up! We did a 3 course dinner for a group of 20 and they handle it with such ease and grace. Table set up was perfection down to every detail! Allison and the team were wonderful for our daughter's wedding. All the food was great (including the late night snacks - which were a hit) and the service was friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the kids meals and vegetarian meal options. Great work Bayou Bluegrass Catering team!

I recently coordinated a wedding at Limestone Hall where Bayou Bluegrass Catering provided the food and service. Allison was wonderful to work with leading up to the event, and Lacey was fantastic on the wedding day—organized, professional, and collaborative. Together we made sure the couple and guests had an amazing experience from start to finish! Excited to work with them again soon!

After a few other high price quotes and having issues getting a caterer to answer my questions.. I posted on a FB wedding group that I needed help. Bayoiu Bluegraas stepped in with their amazing customer service and impressed me right off the bat answering me promptly and courteously. We live over 9 hours away so we based our selections off of descriptions and IG pics, with guidance from John Newton we were able to create a menu that was exciting and even add on to have our salads already plated - which I highly recommend because it creates an elegant look! We had a few hiccups with our wedding venue and needed tables and chairs and then didn’t.. John was helpful and patient with all of our changes, never making me feel stressed about my day.. John showed up on time with Alex and Johnny to set up, the peach salad was amazing! My fiancé ate it and he doesn’t enjoy salads very often! Time came to enjoy our buffet and omg.. everything was sooo delicious!! Brisket, chicken, green beans and risotto .. oh the risotto!! Everything was heated perfectly and tender and juicy! My fiancé and I were taking pics and had missed the cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres but Johnny and Alex ensured we got taken care of with our own plate of them :). Our guests also raved about how wonderful all the food was and great John, Johnny and Alex were.. and to top it all off .. when we hadn’t even thought about who was going to put out and serve desserts we had brought from home .. they stepped in again and saved the day! Above and beyond amazed at how wonderful and accommodating Bayou Bluegrass was for our.wedding day, and if I’m ever in need of a catered meal event in KY I would 100% not hesitate to call them. Do yourself a favor and do the same!!

We had people coming to us all night singing praises about the food. From cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, to the main meal, every single last bite was incredible. Helania, our contact, made the process sincerely easy. It didn't feel like chatting with a business, she made it feel like setting something up with a friend. Cannot thank Helania, and Bayou Bluegrass, enough for the amazing work they did for our wedding.

Bayou Bluegrass Catering catered a wedding I planned at Berry Hill Mansion this past summer. The owner, Shanna and her team were wonderful to work with on this wedding. I appreciated Bayou Bluegrass communicating with me before the wedding day to go over all the little details. Special thank you to the amazing team: Allison, Chef Ben, Allie, James, and Reena for providing excellent service to the wedding guests and the bride and groom. The team went above and beyond! One of the team members even ran out to get a special salad dressing to accommodate a guest with dietary needs. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
