Bayou Bluegrass Catering

After a few other high price quotes and having issues getting a caterer to answer my questions.. I posted on a FB wedding group that I needed help. Bayoiu Bluegraas stepped in with their amazing customer service and impressed me right off the bat answering me promptly and courteously. We live over 9 hours away so we based our selections off of descriptions and IG pics, with guidance from John Newton we were able to create a menu that was exciting and even add on to have our salads already plated - which I highly recommend because it creates an elegant look! We had a few hiccups with our wedding venue and needed tables and chairs and then didn’t.. John was helpful and patient with all of our changes, never making me feel stressed about my day.. John showed up on time with Alex and Johnny to set up, the peach salad was amazing! My fiancé ate it and he doesn’t enjoy salads very often! Time came to enjoy our buffet and omg.. everything was sooo delicious!! Brisket, chicken, green beans and risotto .. oh the risotto!! Everything was heated perfectly and tender and juicy! My fiancé and I were taking pics and had missed the cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres but Johnny and Alex ensured we got taken care of with our own plate of them :). Our guests also raved about how wonderful all the food was and great John, Johnny and Alex were.. and to top it all off .. when we hadn’t even thought about who was going to put out and serve desserts we had brought from home .. they stepped in again and saved the day! Above and beyond amazed at how wonderful and accommodating Bayou Bluegrass was for our.wedding day, and if I’m ever in need of a catered meal event in KY I would 100% not hesitate to call them. Do yourself a favor and do the same!!

The team at Bayou is amazing and the food was delicious. They provided the catering for our wedding reception and it was truly amazing. Our guests complimented their service, professionalism, and the excellent food throughout the evening. They also provided the catering for our Keeneland brunch the following morning and it was excellent. Getting the opportunity to work with Allison made the entire process so easy. She is kind and thoughtful, and very organized and thorough. She answered my questions (there were many!), and made sure no detail was left unattended. Her thoughtfulness and professionalism made the wedding reception and brunch go so smoothly.
