This synthetic turf installation was installed for a growing family with a dog and needed to be installed with cleanliness in mind.
This project included a full 6" demo, 4" of clean Class 2 base rock, thin layer of blue stone fines, air drain tiles (1" thick) to improve permeability and longtime performance and American made synthetic turf with a fully permeable backing and built in Microban, topped with antimicrobial infill.
The fully permeable system allows water and pet urine to pass through quickly and efficiently, helping keep the surface cleaner, useable and odor free with proper maintenance.
