I was in severe pain in the evening and couldn’t see the oral surgeon I was referred to until at least the next day. That’s when I found Dr. Baum — and he was able to see me the same night at 9:30 p.m. for emergency treatment. I’m so grateful I didn’t have to wait overnight or possibly even longer in agony. The office was clean and welcoming, and Dr. Baum was professional, calm, and efficient. Everything was handled smoothly, and I truly felt taken care of. Highly recommend, especially if you ever need emergency dental care. Although it is an out-of-pocket practice, the immediate care and availability were absolutely worth it in my situation.

Dr. Baum is an exceptional dentist who provided outstanding care during a challenging situation. On New Year’s Day, my son experienced a painful mouth infection, and despite it being a holiday, Dr. Baum’s office responded promptly, scheduling a same-day appointment. Dr. Baum’s straightforward approach and expertise reassured us, and he performed the wisdom tooth extraction with remarkable skill. My son recovered quickly, thanks to Dr. Baum’s top-notch care. I highly recommend Dr. Baum for his professionalism and dedication to patient well-being.

I’m here right now and I thought my day was going to be a disaster because my 2 teeth were having to be removed- but it was such a good process and a pleasure to be worked on by Dr Baum he is not just patient and kind- he is fast, knows what he is doing- and honestly is that life saving angel when you need it! Thanks doc! Highly recommend for Dental emergencies! Only place I will go now!

This review is long overdue. My entire family has been going to Dr. Baum for years. HE IS THE BEST DENTIST ON LONG ISLAND. He is thorough, thoughtful, and explains every procedure in detail beforehand, so you have a great understanding of what's being done. He truly cares about the health of your teeth and your mouth. I would recommend Doctor Eric Baum A TRILLION PERCENT to anyone who VALUES a great smile and great dental work that last a long time, from cleaning, fillings, implants etc etc. I get compliments every time I smile, from total strangers. Do yourself a favor and visit one of his location in Commack or Stony Brook, NY.

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Eric. I am visiting home from out of town and needed an emergency solution to all the pain I was in. It was so easy to get seen even on Christmas Eve and Dr. Eric was incredibly patient, kind, and comforting. 12/10 recommend. If you have a dental problem, go to Dr. Eric. I’ve also had a history of never getting numb enough and most of my dental work being painful. Dr. Eric listened to that and made sure I didn’t experience a drop of pain during a bridge removal and tooth extraction. So impressed

I fell very fortunate to have found Dr. Baum and I highly recommend him. A crown and the tooth it was cemented to fell out when brushing my teeth on a Friday night. Saturday morning I called several emergency dental services but Dr. Baum was the only one to call back. He saw me that afternoon and explained why I needed a root canal. Dr. Baum seemed extremely skillful. It was painless and took less time than I expected. I left with a temporary that looked better than the original. I came back today to have the permanent crown put in and it looks great. Thank you Dr. Baum

This is truthfully my option. I called around 830pm mid week wanting to see a doctor. i wasn't in serve pain at all, but knew i needed to see a doctor. From the phone i was able to make an appointment right on the phone for the same evening for 1030pm. I really did not like paying $375 over the phone for the appointment for x-rays. Pros for this business. Clean Office, Nice Decor, Honest Doctor, Wrote a Script that night for infection. Cons: Waiting room very small, Expensive for long island i was priced at $950 per tooth for extriction i needed 5 out, Outdated x-raymachine (takes x-ray of 1 tooth at a time instead of entire head x-ray like most oral surgons on long island. I didn't like the fact the doctor was by himselt no help at all or even a office person answering the phones. Dark exterior of the building and parking lot. Overall do your research i went to Leading Edge Oral Surgery i was given 5 star service on an emergency appointment. I cant find one thing wrong i didnt like. I Paid $650 per tooth and had a full mouth x-ray for free with the extriction.

I had to see Dr. Baum today for an emergency dental treatment, and I could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, he was attentive, professional, and reassuring. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made me feel completely at ease during what could have been a very stressful situation. The procedure itself was handled with great skill and care — I was impressed by how smoothly everything went and how comfortable he kept me throughout. Dr. Baum has excellent clinical expertise. I am so grateful for the outstanding care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Baum to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and trustworthy dentist.

Yesterday I had a back tooth that became really loose after biting into a piece of candy. I got nervous and my husband called stony brook line and the receptionist transferred over to Mr Baum’s office in commack. They got me in within a half hour and he got me all squared away. Very clean office, great bedside manner and genuinely made me feel at ease . Highly recommended Mr Baum .

Dr.Baum was great! Was in severe pain at 10pm at night he was there to take me. Went from having pain I couldn’t deal with to pain free within a half hour! Very professional and welcoming! And a very nice and comfortable office. Even had a great movie playing!! I recommend him for all your dental needs!
