Bathtub reglazing refinishing

The crew was professional, they are honest, and offer great pricing. My bathroom looks brand new. They gave my tub a second lease on life. I had a small corner peel, I sent a picture to them. They came right ove, and honored their warranty, to repaired it at no cost. I had a great experience with Eufracio at Standard Bathtub Reglazing. Communication was easy, pricing was very fair, and the quality of the work far exceeded my expectations. A few years ago I had my bathtub re-glazed by another company, but the cracks came back because the floor underneath wasn’t corrected. This time, Eufracio took the extra step to repair the issue properly. He tested the base, then added a sturdy epoxy layer reinforced with fiberglass mesh. Now the bottom feels rock solid, and the tub looks brand new. I had been considering a full bathtub replacement, which would have cost close to $10,000. Instead, this repair cost me about 10% of that, and the results are fantastic. On top of that, Eufracio provided a two-year warranty (none of the other companies I called offered one) and gave me clear maintenance instructions about what cleaning products to use. The attention to detail, warranty, and overall value really set this company apart. Eufrasio did an amazing job on my bathtub. It was dirty and had a dent at the bottom where the water would pool. I contacted Eufrasio and he replied quickly. He offered a reasonable price and did the job in one day. He fixed the dent and made the tub look new. I highly recommend.

Biggest concerns I have are not finishing the job, lack of follow up and weak communication. We had two fiberglass bathtub/showers reglazed. He did not finish promised work on the second one, work that was included in the price we paid for his service. He said he would come back to reinstall a bathroom screen he removed during the project, which wasn’t possible to replace right after the reglazing because the paint was still wet. The screen is very difficult to replace. We sent a reminder to him over 4 weeks ago followed by three additional reminders and he still hasn’t contacted us to set up an appointment to finish the work. He has been fully paid. The reglazing work he did was generally very good and the price was good. I would give it a 4. But he chipped our paint in a couple of locations outside the shower and there was dust from the bathtub sanding that we had to clean up. Also the new glazing has a few slight rough points, probably from larger dust particles sprayed onto the surface. It’s definitely not as smooth as original fiberglass coating. Edit 6/3/2023 Eufrasio contacted us about a month after our initial request to install the screen and was ready to set an appointment. At this point he was very conscientious about finishing the job and we are very pleased. He explained that he had been out of town and was very backed up with work requests. He was very pleasant in his final contacts and arrived timely. He also explained about how the masking tape caused some of the minor paint chipping we had noticed. All in all we are very happy with the completed work.

VERY PROFESSIONAL! He did an amazing job on refinishing our bath tub and shower wall. We’re moving out of state and his response time was quick and even came out to do the job the following Monday! Wish we did it sooner so we can enjoy it. He knows his stuff and felt very comfortable leaving him in our home. You’ll be in good hands if you need your tub refinished!
