My name is Chad, I am a self employed electrician working on residential and commercial projects. I named my business after my beloved Basset hound to reflect trust, honesty and friendly service that I provide to my customers. I graduated from the Institute of Business and Technology with all of my Electrical certifications. I have been working 6 years in the trade. I am a licensed C-10 Electrical contractor.
I install standby generators, automatic transfer switches, Backup load panels, lighting , sub panels, new circuits, conduit, car chargers etc.
Taking on any and all types of electrical projects.

Great electrician! Had a tree fall on my pg&e line and take out power to my home. Gave Basset Electric a call and Chad came out and let me know my options. He was personable, professional, punctual and helped me thru the process of restoring power to my home. Would recommend to anyone looking for electrical work.

Chad and his team at Basset were great to work with for our whole home generator install. They helped coordinate the cement pad work and was always responsive to out reach. He even double checked some faulty propane pipe work done by a previous group. The work was well done, timely, and very affordable compared to other groups we received quotes from. I plan to use Basset electric for future work and would recommend checking them out if you are shopping around for any of your electrical needs.

Bassett Electric was such an amazing recommendation from a neighbor and we are so glad to have found them. Chad and his team are exceptional and their commitment to their craft is apparent. We had an urgent situation to deal with and Bassett was quick to the rescue, and even during road closures found an alternative route that added a considerable amount of time for them to get to us and made no fuss over it. Their work was cleanly and professionally done, and all always with a smile and positive attitude. I can't recommend them enough and look forward to working with them again down the road.

Had an emergency electrical problem during a heavy rain where the power was flickering and going off/coming on by itself. Got Chads name and he came out in less than 30 minutes. About a half hour of investigation and he fixed the issue. He was fast, friendly, professional and he fixed my issue for a really reasonable price. I plane to bring him back on some renovation work i'm doing. Great guy, great company - 100% recommendation!

I was referred to Basset Electric and was very pleased with the work they did on my home. First of all, John actually answers his phone when you call and he made the time to see my home within days. have been in the plumbing trade for over 40 years and as owner of Hwy 9 Plumbing I’ve had the opportunity to work with Basset electric on a few jobs now. I’ve been impressed with Chad‘s professionalism and work so when a customer of mine needed an electrician, I did not hesitate to recommend Basset Electric. They did not disappoint.
