Knew this place was going to be great when Cryptopsy's Crown of Horns was playing as we walked in through the door. Excellent beer and peaty whisky, friendly bar staff who gave us info about Tallinn's metal scene and kept the death/black metal ticking over beautifully (definitely one of the best playlists I've heard in any metal bar). Wish we could've spent much longer here.

Fantastic laid back bar with friendly staff and great, cheap drinks. Fantastic vibes. It’s like a tiny cave inside - cosy, dark and atmospheric. I went there twice, sat outside late at night in summer, chatted to other visitors to Tallinn and had a great time. Fantastic atmosphere and a must-visit for metal heads. I can imagine this would be the place to be before or after a big concert.

Cool atmosphere with nice metalheads listening to black and death metal, what is not to love? Lots of old school favorites were played, those bartenders have great taste! My new favorite bar in Tallinn.

What a fantastic place this was. Our absolute favourite hangout during our brief stint in Tallinn. A special shout-out to the friendlist face behind the bar - Miša. Thanks, brother, for making our evening a perfect blend of great music and great beer. p.s. He even took requests.

Pictures are from old venue but bar is fantastic, Had such a good time that had to be back for a second night. The two young batenders were amazing with both drinks and music suggestions. Got to know some great Estonian bands (owners band included). It just happened to have the guitar player from Australian band called Deprivation on the Bar which made the night even more memorable. A must stop for metal heads in Tallinn.

Rock bar with metal leaning, although more 80s new wave playing on visit. Some good local draught and canned beers. Good vibe

I attended a free performance here by the Shamanic black metal band, Rattler. The ground floor is not large, but it has a cozy atmosphere and a relatively compact stage. Good acoustics and a great selection of beers make this place appealing to pleasant people. The Saaremaa unfiltered beer, mild with a slight taste of brewer's yeast, served in a wonderful heavy thick glass mug ordered straight from the Czech Republic, was particularly excellent.

Popped in a for a drink after reading the great reviews. My wife asked for a vodka and coke to be rebutted with a ‘What!?’. The barman begrudgingly got the drink and then I asked for a beer. For some reason he raised his eyebrows and shook his head and wiggled his whole body like a stroppy teenager and muttered something under his breath. He returned with my drink and I paid for my and my wife’s drink and said thank you. The barman said ‘You’re welcome’ in a very sarcastic tone. I honestly don’t know what was wrong with him. The barman was not busy and there were no other customers waiting to be served. I drank my drink and left, never to return. Rude and unwelcoming staff.

Perfectly situated. Young man behind the bar wearing a Burzum hoodie. Predominantly Black Metal playing. Beer nice and cold. What's not to like 🙂
