I needed to create 7 RV slots on about 2 acres of land that was filled with beautiful oak trees, persimmons, and natural grasses. I wanted to keep all the beautiful trees, but I was having a hard time figuring out the precise layout of each slot. Then, there was the question of what comes first, outlining each slot or trenching for water, electric, & septic connections. We would not have a clue where to place the connections until the underbrush was cleared out and the slots were laid out.
Jonathan came in, made suggestions, did the road work to outline the slots & driveways. His team – James - took special care to not take out any of the oak trees or natural persimmon trees. Once James was done, we knew exactly where to place the connections.
The people doing the connections for RV hookups trenched over a lot of Jonathan’s beautiful roadwork. No problem, Jonathan came back, re-bladed & re-rolled the base, and then brought in plenty of decomposed granite as the topping.
Once the granite was in place, the spaces between the RV slots looked like a war zone. Rocks everywhere. Jonathan’s words were “with a little loving care” those spaces could be beautiful grassy areas. He suggested bringing in black dirt to fill. I accepted, and after he did that, I have now seeded that black dirt with grass seeds that are native to this particular area.
Even after the company responsible for installing the electric gates had to trench, Jonathan came back and rerolled the last of the decomposed granite to smooth over that trench.
The effort at The Villages was so successful & perfect that we hired them to do road work at our ranch & also to clear cedar. Some of the cedar clearing was in deep ravines. I was fearful that their heavy machinery would not be able to handle the inclines.
But - that is where Jonathan brought in his team of Bubba & Jeremy. Bubba cleared all the way down the steep inclines of the ravine!!!!! and Jeremy used his skid steer with scissor attachment to clear out smaller cedars underneath oak trees that I would have had to lop by hand. They also got approval to burn, so they dug a deep hole & did the burning in the hole!!
Jonathan & his teams were awesome! Jonathan was honest, sincere, had lots of suggestions, and was very easy to work with. James & his son Mason rocked it with their roadwork and Bubba & Jeremy for clearing!! I would rate Jonathan & his teams higher than 5 stars!! The Villages would not be as beautiful & successful had it not been for Jonathan’s work!!!
