As a real estate investor, we've worked with Balboa on a handful of our larger projects now from residential additions to removing walls for an open concept, etc. We typically have a set of drawings from our architect/structural engineer already and it's up to Balboa to decipher those details and do all the (literal) heavy lifting and get us through framing inspection. There is a good line of communication and usually little to no surprises. With all construction jobs, there will always be hiccups but Balboa has handled things with a good attitude and committed to getting the job done, and done well. As they say, if you were to do it again, would you use them? My answer is yes.

Hugo and his team did an awesome job on my door/window framing and install. They were on time, hard working and all of the work was done per our agreed upon specs. 5 stars, highly recommend!

This company deserves 6 stars! Balboa Development is the most professional and reliable company we’ve seen in a long time. By far, the most impressive general contractor we’ve had the pleasure to work on our home. We added a near 1000 sqft. covered pool house with bathroom, outdoor kitchen and fireplace. These guys did a fantastic job. Hugo is a refreshingly honest and knowledgeable contractor. He was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything came out perfect. He even helped with aspects which were not in the contract and at one point worked for 2 weeks straight without a day-off. Hugo is an extremely hard worker and effective communicator who will consistently follow up on any outstanding issues and keep you in the loop. All work was done exceptionally well and timely. Feel comfortable and safe that Balboa Development will take care of your project. We’ll be using these guys again in the future. Thank you again Hugo. Don’t ever change!
