Iāve dined in and ordered takeaway from this place several times back when it was Bakery House, and Iāve always enjoyed the food. Since the rebrand to Lebanese Flavours, the menu and overall food quality have definitely changed, unfortunately, not for the better.
On my latest visit, the waiter was friendly and seated us promptly, which was appreciated. I ordered the mixed grill: the lamb cubes were dry and very small, and while the chicken wasnāt dry, it lacked flavour. It came with some grilled vegetables, but nothing particularly memorable. My side was the vegetable rice, which used to be a favourite, it was always fresh and tasty, but this time it was dry, overcooked, and the portion was slightly smaller than I remember.
One thing I really missed was the complimentary bread, salad, and sauces they used to provide, none of that was offered this time, which was disappointing.
On the plus side, my partner had the chicken shawarma wrap and really enjoyed it, said it was full of flavour. He also got a portion of grilled chicken which was fresh and tasty. We ordered a small portion of chicken shawarma with chips for our toddler, it was fine, but it would be great if they offered proper kidsā meal options.
Also, be aware thereās paid off-street parking nearby, limited to 2 hours.
Overall, quite disappointed with how things have changed. This used to be a go-to spot for us, but itās lost a lot of what made it special.
