The idea of Bakery House was conceptualised when our founders saw an opportunity to provide the authentic Lebanese/Arabic cuisine to Reading diners.
Our menu incorporates freshly cooked Grills, hot and cold Mezze Starters, Arabic rice dishes, wraps, Lebanese flatbread (Manakeesh) and Arabic sweets.

Have been coming here for a few years ever since my Lebanese and Algerian classmates recommended this place. After the revamp prices have increased slightly but still reasonable, and the food is still as delicious. Excellent homemade bread, chicken wings and lamb chops!

Thought I would try this place from the reviews but I think most are from before the takeover
I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a chicken dish, and it was completely overdone.burnt on the outside and extremely dry. It lacked any of the tenderness or flavour you’d expect Unfortunately, this ruined the meal for me, and I don’t think I’d return.
Anyone ordering I would suggest to check the food before you leave to ensure half the chicken isn’t burnt and black
