Great place to have dinner! Nice and inviting atmosphere with friendly, helpful service! We started with the cheese curds, which were good! My husband had a burger and fries and I had the hot beef. Everything was delicious, but that portion size of hot beef was HUGE!!!! That could have fed two people! Definitely stop in and try this place out! You won’t be disappointed!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Badlands Grill was an unexpected gem! I had the Ultimate Mac Sandwich—absolutely loved it. Super unique and packed with flavor. My son-in-law ordered the Dirty Bird and said it was one of the best things he’s had on our trip. The beans were surprisingly amazing—definitely not an afterthought. My son went with the cheeseburger, which he said was pretty standard, but he really enjoyed the flatbread fries. Great food and great stop overall!

The Badlands Saloon and Grille is a gem in Wall! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels inviting—laid-back, rustic, and full of local charm. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring the Badlands or Wall Drug. The service here is outstanding. Staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome. They go out of their way to check in, keep things moving smoothly, and add a personal touch to the experience. The environment itself strikes a nice balance between lively and comfortable—whether you’re sitting at the bar for a casual drink or enjoying a sit-down meal with family and friends. The place is clean, well-kept, and has just the right amount of buzz without ever feeling crowded. Overall, Badlands Saloon and Grille delivers both great service and a warm, enjoyable atmosphere—definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone visiting Wall.

Badlands Bar & Grill is truly impressive. The service is flawless. The food is superb. Today we shared the Hot Beef. Portion was huge.

Well this is about the best place in Wall if not the whole area. They are a bit short on staff, but they don’t stress over it and do the best they can. Food is fantastic, staff is very friendly and accommodating. We pulled in and at 7:30 it was packed. So we just had breakfast at the bar. We did receive mild harassment from the bartender, we could have used a little more. But she was busy. Always our first choice in Wall.

This was by far my favorite place to eat at while in Wall, SD. Reasonably priced and delicious food you won’t be disappointed. You’ll love their fries they almost taste like a truffle fry. My burger was medium exactly like the menu stated and everyone loved their food. No one had a single complaint about the food. They are incredibly busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. Our server didn’t really seem like she was excited to help us, she wasn’t very bubbly or talkative. Otherwise we had an amazing time and I would definitely eat here again. They even have a lot machines in the back.

Such a great place for drinks and food!! Marilouise, the bartender, was so sweet. She even had us taste testing their Rattlesnake mojito, which had blueberries mulled, with jalapenos and raspberry puree. it was so smooth and amazing!! The place is clean, fresh, yet warm with the wood. Alkina, our waiter, was so kind, detailed, and helpful. Highly recommend the Rattlesnake Burrito or Rattlesnake omelette. it has the zip yet the sweet balance with a lot of bacon and a raspberry puree. the diced potatoes are so buttery and amazing! I also had the bloody mary. I told Marilouise that I like them spicy. She used Tito's vodka and added a habanero vodka as well with my beer chaser (yes, I'm a Minnesotan and we have to have a chaser with our bloodies). It was perfect!! Do not miss this awesome bar and grill. Skip the Wall Drug tourist trap grill and head across the street to this bar. You won't regret it.

Great Service great food. I don’t get the low reviews. This is 5 stars every day of the week. I had the blue cheese burger. Delicious and the seasoned fries amazing. Definitely freshly cut. And the beef was locally grown. I tasted the difference. We’ll be back. Pizza was good too.

Really good service and overall good food with a small hiccup, my steak was overdone for my liking, I ordered medium and the majority of the steak was between medium well and well done. Nothing to terrible still an amazing dinner overall. PS the fried pickles were amazing.
