Backyard Retreats

We are absolutely thrilled with our backyard patio from Backyard Retreats! The entire space feels like a true extension of our home and has quickly become our favorite place to gather with family and friends. The covered patio, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and seating areas are all beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. Everything flows so well and feels both functional and inviting. From start to finish, Backyard Retreats delivered incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to transform their backyard into a relaxing, resort-style retreat.

We had a wonderful experience with Backyard Retreats. They turned our old vine covered pergola into a beautiful covered patio. Scott kept us informed of what was going on and updated us on the timeline throughout the whole process. We could count on him responding quickly via text or email to any questions we had. He went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied with the patio. Also, the crew kept our yard clean and cleaned up at the end of the day throughout the whole process. We couldn’t be happier with our patio and their customer service. They did an excellent job.

How do I begin? I have read so many reviews and researched at least 3 companies before deciding to use Backyard Retreats and let me honestly tell you that I only have positive experience with Backyard Retreats. Ricky from Backyard Retreats was my liaison. Ricky worked with me to build a covered patio and accommodated within my budget. I am grateful that he answered all my calls and texts within a day. He was very nice to work with. The patio took a month and a half to finish. All the contractors that were used pick up all the debris after the day is done. Scheduling was on time, and I never had to wait. If they said they were coming that day, rain or shine, they would show up! Backyard Retreats did the whole process for me, from getting approval from my HOA, and getting City of Houston permit. I was also given a 3D rendering so I can picture what my end results would be. Near the completion of my project, Ricky brought in Tyler and they both hung up my string lights, wind chime, and swing from the ceiling for me. I am very appreciative of their efforts to help me hang up everything because I could not do it myself. I undoubtedly would hire Backyard Retreats again as they are very professional and most importantly personable to my needs. I love my new backyard patio and highly recommend Backyard Retreats to anyone!!

Backyard Retreats was recommended to me by some friends that had previously done work with them. I was not disappointed. They did a back patio covering, which came out better than I even dreamed. Ricky was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive to all of my questions along the way. They did an amazing job and I will definitely be a repeat customer should the opportunity arise.

We’re so happy with our new pergola! The whole experience with Backyard Retreats was wonderful. Scott listened and really understood and worked with our budget. He was quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns. All of the crews: the builders, the electricians and the painters were very professional and polite. Any minor issues were handled immediately. The overall job was completed in less time than I expected. The quality of the pergola is top notch. I would highly recommend Backyard Retreats for any outdoor renovation be it big or small. While ours is not as fancy or expensive as some of their work, they still treated us as if it was one of their big projects.

I had Backyard Retreats do a patio extension for me last year and I wasn’t disappointed. Ty came out and gave me a free quote and walked me through the process. He kept me updated on the progress and answered any and all concerns and questions that I had. If I had an issue he was quick to address it.
