Our tour guide Milton and his team members Louis and Alfredo were very professional and truly showed us a good time. Milton was very knowledgeable and shared with us really interesting and exciting facts about their beautiful country. He was funny and outgoing and without a doubt him and the team were some of the best tour guides I’ve had. The boat was clean and the team did a great job of keeping us safe throughout the excursion, helping us get on and off the boat, ensuring our valuables were taken with us off the boat, providing us local guidance to ensure we were aware of our surroundings, and giving us clean life jackets for our snorkel adventure. The tour was well price for everything it offered, a varied itinerary, plentiful amount of time to enjoy all the islands and activities, clean and safe conditions, lunch and water included, and intentional and charismatic employees. Give these great men a raise!! 🫶🏽♥️

Wow! What an experience. The round trip was about 4.5-5 hours from Cartagena. The mud was thick and felt quite interesting. There are 51 minerals in it and it has therapeutic properties. Franklin was a funny and educational tour guide. He speaks great English. I felt safe the entire trip.

Cesar and his crew were not only respectful, but very polite. They made sure to inform us at each stop. They kept an eye on every single tourist. Amazing service, I would come again!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Rosario Island VIP Tour in Cartagena with the incredible tour guides Ceasar and Angel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best days of my trip! From start to finish, these two went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. Ceasar’s energy was infectious—he’s a natural storyteller with a deep knowledge of the islands’ history and culture. He brought every stop to life, whether pointing out hidden gems in the turquoise waters or sharing fascinating tidbits about the local ecosystem. His passion for Cartagena and the Rosario Islands shone through, making the tour feel personal and engaging rather than just a checklist of sights. Angel, on the other hand, was the perfect complement—calm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. He made sure everyone felt taken care of, from checking in on our comfort during the boat ride to ensuring we had everything we needed to fully enjoy the snorkeling and beach time. His quiet confidence and knack for anticipating our needs added a layer of ease to the whole adventure. Together, they turned what could’ve been a standard tour into a VIP experience that felt tailored just for us. The pacing was spot-on, with plenty of time to soak in the stunning views, swim in the crystal-clear Caribbean, and relax on pristine beaches without ever feeling rushed. They even threw in some insider tips—like the best spots for photos and where to catch the most vibrant marine life—that made the day extra special. If you’re considering the Rosario Island VIP Tour, do yourself a favor and hope you get Ceasar and Angel as your guides. They’re a dynamic duo who truly elevate the experience with their expertise, warmth, and genuine love for what they do. Five stars doesn’t even begin to cover it—this was a day in paradise I’ll be raving about for years!

Milton was absolutely terrific! He provided fascinating information on the volcano itself, and a great piece of cultural history. I highly recommend taking a mud bath in a volcano! Jesus was an excellent driver!

Franklin and Jesus were incredibly kind, informative, and helpful. Jam took our pictures, Sandra helped us clean up. It was truly a one of a kind experience. You literally float like a bobber in the mud. It's one of those things you can't explain, you just have to try it! Volcan el Totumo!

Milton and Nitcher (hope I spelled name correctly) are awesome. This was a great tour where we got to see a lot in a short amount of time. Activities include snorkeling, massages for extra (you can haggle), cruise ride on a speedboat, very delicious fresh oysters. Milton was extremely attentive to our needs, He even gave tips on how to deal with the local people. I enjoyed the whole tour. One thing That could be improved as on viator.com is the location is incorrect so I spent a fair amount of time scrambling to get to the actual location.

We booked a tour with Cartagena Connections for Rosario island hopping. Our tour guide was Jesús! He was super adorable and welcoming. Our whole group thought his energy was great and he has the best smile. He walked us through everything and help us with snorkelling and even details about the island. We really enjoyed it! It was worth the pricing for the long tour day but the water woke us up. Truly would recommend to everyone!

This was a great day excursion to the islands. Our guide, Jose, was amazing and very helpful. If this is your first time in Cartagena, please note that it's advised to learn at least a little bit of Spanish to get by. Spanish is the main language here. Despite that, this company operates in both English and Spanish, and Jose was a very helpful translator for every part of the tour. We really appreciated his tips for every island that we stopped by at like, what to expect from vendors selling services, how much service fees will cost us if we used credit cards, and was very keen on watching out for our safety on the trip.

I have taken this tour 3 times, I liked them all but this last one showed a big improvement in the services offered by the company (I actually enjoy how every time they have improvements, shows that they care abt consumers). The guide Franklin was very nice, very attentive, helpful and kind. My experience is that the staff is always very nice and this time it was no exception. The boat was a bigger boat than previous times and that was more comfortable (and very important specially for seniors and children). As before we were picked in the hotel -comfortable and clean van-, then we went to different Islands (the route was a bit different but I found it very interesting since we had the opportunity to walk through the bocachica fort), we had a very nice shrimp cocktail and a fresh fruit salad, I enjoyed a lot the snorkel (I saw many colourful fishes), I also ate oysters at Cholon Island and the lunch place was nice, calm and clean. The food was also good (drinks and extras to the menu that is offered with the tour are at your cost). A nice surprise is that locals are taking more care of the spaces since I had the impression that they were more clean. However, there is a lot of floor for improvement, in some specific places it was a bit sad to see plastic and trash in the sea and beaches. Hopefully local authorities help to keep this amazing places good and companies like this one pressure to take care of them so the experience can only be better. I highly recommend this tour with this company, it gives you a good sense of Rosario Islands, you can experience the traditional food and the staff (specially guides) are always very nice and helpful, at least until now that has been my experience. Price/quality is also good. Tip: take some cash with you to get drinks and sea appetisers at the places and to tip (in the first island there were guides that are not part of the company and they ask tip at the end for the service), be aware that you will get wet many times and that the sea may get wild in the evenings, delicate things such as cellphones can go better on plastic bags inside your bag (small bag). (Tip for the company: I think the company should better do an agreement with the guides that are not part of the tour and include the tip on the price so quality can be also checked -one, only one of the guys -and not everyone received it- was a bit rude at the beginning because people were not gathering properly at the groups-, another possibility is to tell in advance that there is option to have them as guides and how much does that cost, I suggest this also to warranty that costumers have enough ready to give them ).
