We hired BackBreakers NW July 2024 to partially pack a household of furniture and move into storage in Burlington 124 miles away. The packing crew was courteous and seemed competent. Later after seeing how a different BackBreakers crew unloaded and packed things the next day, I decided I would not use them to move my things into a house a year later. Particularly unnerving was the unwrapped TV set on the floor 3 feet from the door, lamp shades on top of glass lamp shades without any padding in between. I had not traveled the distance to supervise the unpacking at storage. My mistake. July 2025 I hired a different company and they discovered that one leg of an irreplaceable antique desk had been broken when it was placed into storage. I had to hire a woodworker to repair the desk leg. One very expensive original piece of art in the frame was not wrapped at all and the frame set leaning against a wall in storage unit. Totally unacceptable. Also lamp shades in a box were glass to glass without any paper between them. Who would think glass lamp shades touching would be okay? Two leather recliners have long-lasting indentations on the sides from them nesting upside down one in the other. In a box marked "pictures" was the cookware top I'd been looking for a month. I do not recommend this company. I lowered from two stars to one because of the expense of the oak desk repair.

BackBreakers NW was fantastic to work with. They helped us unload and safely set up large commercial physical therapy clinic equipment, and their professionalism and attention to safety made a huge difference. The crew worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and truly functioned as a great team. They helped us think through placement and logistics and really put all the puzzle pieces together. We are very grateful for their help and would highly recommend them.

Awesome and Tricky Appliance Move! What an incredible experience! This team handled a complicated appliance move with professionalism, creativity, and great energy. The job wasn’t easy, but they approached every challenge with a positive attitude and real teamwork. Their problem-solving skills and communication made all the difference. My realtor recommended Backbrakers. They are excellent. Luke in the office is always helpful and responsive. The team arrived on time. They had to fit all of our stuff in to two crates. We put a lot of thought into which box went into which crates in terms weight and placement in the crate. They did it very well. The movers were friend and skilled. Half way, they informed us that there would be plenty of space left, which allowed us to pack our dinning table and leather bench in the crates and load the rest of the boxes accordingly. In short, we were very happy with the job they did, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

It started with Micah and Luke. Many thanks fellas. But the best of the best came with Chris, DJ and Andy when they showed up for the move. I just cannot fully express my appreciation for their hard work and professionalism. They were just great! Made me feel good that my property was in their hands. I have used BackBreakers NW on several occasions through the years without disappointment. Today Christopher & Zack hauled out a piece of exercise equipment. They were prompt, professional and conscientious of the surroundings when removing the equipment and very strong! Thank you Jeff for your commitment to each job, as well as the standard you employ. Jeff and his crew were amazing. We had them remove a hot tub and book cases. Did not have to wait long for him to schedule us which we loved. I would highly recommend them and will def use them in the future if needed.

We had Backbreakers come move all our furniture from three rooms back to our living room and entry after some remodeling work. They did an amazing job. Very care and they adjusted and leveled a large hutch. I highly recommend this company
