Today we completed an outdoor hose bib (exterior water spigot) replacement at a residential property in Florence, AZ.
The existing valve had corrosion and restricted flow, which can eventually lead to leaks and wall moisture damage. We removed the worn fitting, installed a new brass hose bib, and secured the connection with updated piping and proper sealing to help improve durability and water control.
Exterior shut-off points are important for homeowners because they allow safe use of garden hoses and irrigation while also making it easier to isolate water during maintenance. Regular inspection of outdoor valves can help prevent unexpected leaks and water waste, especially in Arizona’s hard-water conditions.
The system was tested after installation to confirm stable pressure and proper operation.
