Adrian seems like a good guy, but the way he runs his business isn’t fair. When I asked about repairing my laptop screen, he gave me a price range, but when I went in the price range went up because it was a “Pro” model. I agreed, but when the repair was finished, the price went up again. He said he was giving me a discount on labor, but really it was just the $150 diagnostic fee being “deducted” — which he had already told me would be applied toward the repair. So in reality, there was never a real discount. On top of that, I also had him fix my girlfriend’s laptop, so he made double. I understand it’s a business and it is what it is, so I paid the full price.
After about 2 weeks, the screen stopped working again — just showing black with lines — even though it had been working fine the day before. When I contacted him, instead of honoring the 2-month warranty he advertises or even offering a solution, he immediately said it was “physical damage” and went straight into quoting me a new repair price. Keep in mind, I had already paid $575 — and as a normal college student, I don’t have that kind of money to throw around, especially twice, on what could very well be a botched job that caused the issue in the first place. I chose to repair instead of buying new to save money, and now I feel like I wasted it.
I wouldn’t recommend taking your computer here for repairs
