The overall stay is fine. Some of the things to take note of if you plan to stay here:
1. The design of the building. It feels more like a dormitory than a house, 3 floors = 3 units. Each unit is linked by the stairway, so don't consider them as 1, no other way to access each other. 1 unit has 3 rooms.
2. Most of the common spaces is quite open, the kitchen is open kitchen and the common area in front of the kitchen is shaded by canopy. Stairways are open, too. So don't expect to be able to stay together when it is raining, everywhere could get wet. Also, it gets quite messy after a rain.
3. Following #2, if you have concerns about bugs, be aware. since most of the time when you want to gather, you can only do it in the common area. You are prone to bugs encounter, bring mosquito repellent with you.
4. Privacy. The building is actually attached to a house that has a glass door directly accessing the yard in front of the homestay building. In case you are not comfortable with this setup, do think twice. I am fine with it cause nobody entered when I was around.
5. Toilet/shower is extremely small. I'd say it was quite hard to turn around in it. Basically, shower on top of toilet bowl.
Overall, it is a simple, no fuss setup. Good if you are looking for a place for team building, not so much if you are having a family gathering.
