Last night, more than 55 law students from Florida International University College of Law, University of Miami School of Law, and St. Thomas University College of Law joined us for our first-ever law student reception, the Future Counsel.
It was an evening designed to go beyond the classroom—connecting students directly with attorneys, peers, and the judiciary, including Judge Maria de Jesus Santovenia, who shared practical insights on what it truly takes to build a legal career.
At our law firm, we don’t view students as observers; instead, we invest in them as future attorneys. As our partner Ryan Sawal, who started here as a law clerk, put it:
