So my dryer stopped working. Just like most of us do, I googled how to fix my dryer and got tons of different results and videos. Now, I do consider myself somewhat technical and I do own a tool box, but I found myself a bit lost. So I called my Home Appliances Service and Maintenance provider. The technician came, did his thing and found out that the dryer belt broke. He had to take the whole dryer apart (including the drum), clean all excess lint (a lot was removed), replace the belt and put it all back together and now it is working again. Yes, I know basic dryers don’t cost much ($350-$450), but for about the same price I have all my appliances (HVAC, washer and dryer) under a service maintenance agreement and any repair done to them is free of charge. Just in the past year I had them come out and fix my AC, washer, and now the dryer. In my opinion, money well spent!
