Look at your washing machine supply lines. If you see rubber supply lines maybe it's time to replace them and avoid an unexpected leaks. With time, the rubber supply lines will dry out and blister, increasing the chance of these lines to burst. It is recommended by the manufacturer of these lines to replace them every 5 years. If and when you choose to replace these lines, you can replace it with a braided stainless steel supply lines, which are more durable and reliable than the rubber supply lines.
