I find these flexible drain line in about half of the inspections I perform. Though it is being sold in every hardware store, it is not recommended to install it under any plumbing fixture in the house. The main issue with flexible drain lines is that the ridges of the line are slowing down the water drain flow and actually allowing gunk collect and clog the drain line. It is recommended to have a smooth walk pipe that will actually drain all gunk and grime.
