Update (10/3/2025): This is the best experience I’ve had getting crown work done in the past 20 years. The staff’s efficiency and attention to detail were on point. The crowns were made in house, so I didn’t have to deal with a temporary/come back for a second visit and my bite felt completely normal immediately after the work was complete. An amazingly knowledgeable and kind team! Highly recommend!!! Original (8/14/25): Great experience switching over to this practice for my semi-annual cleaning! Dr. Connell and staff were all very welcoming, attentive, and thorough!

Dr. Connell was able to save a tooth I was told needed an extraction and implant by doing a same-day crown. He even squeezed me in during the holidays! One day later and it’s not sore and fits perfectly! He’s even checked in on me since then. Would highly recommend!

Got my teeth scanned today! Everything was super easy and they made it such a pleasant experience. I usually don't like going to the dentist but this was just so easy and they were so good with me. I can't recommend them enough.

I had a great experience with Dr. Connell. The visit was professional, punctual, and exactly how you want these things to go. The staff was friendly, explained my treatment clearly, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Easily one of the smoothest dentist appointments I’ve had. Highly recommend, will be back with the rest of my family.

Love this dentist! They do great cleanings. I never feel rushed. The doctor and techs seem to really like each other and get along. They did a gorgeous job matching my tooth color to the filling when I broke one of my bottom front teeth. The dentist did such a good job fixing it he couldn’t remember which tooth it was! 🤣 I tried another dentist and came back here because the quality of the care at Avent Ferry was just so much better. They also let me bring my two kids to the appointment which was very kind. When they say they are family friendly, they mean it.

Initial visit for meet and greet along with an evaluation. So far so good. I was impressed with Dr B’s knowledge and communication skills. I felt like I was in charge of my treatment plan. I decided to proceed with Dr B. My old great dentist retired so I was looking for some one as good. My initial impression is Dr B fits the bill. Can you believe it? Dr. B did some great work on my teeth since I wrote the above comment. And, then he took an early retirement.🙃 The new dentist, Dr Connell, who took over Dr. B’s practice is going to be a great dentist. I will say that we had a little communication problem at first because, maybe, I didn’t speak up about my concerns. But after a subsequent “talk” that I initiated, we got on track. He subsequently put in two very beautiful crowns and our communication is great. I think we both learned something about communicating.

Enjoyed my experience here! Staff was great and Dr. Connell was very kind and professional. Been struggling to find a good dentist for a while, so glad to have finally found one!

The office is modern and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and professional. Dr. Butts takes the time to explain treatment options, and the hygienists are thorough yet gentle. I’ve always felt comfortable and well-cared for. Highly recommended!

Being a local dental hygienist, I chose Avent Ferry Dental because of a coworker that had positive things to say about this practice. Went in for my 6 month exam and prophy, saw Emily the hygienist. She did an amazing job. X-rays taken by Linda, and exam by Dr Butts. All were professional and exceeded my expectations. From the front office Joanna to the back team it was an excellent experience. I felt taken care of and will be returning again. I did come back for a filling. Dr Butts did a great job. Feels comfortable and well done. Thank you!

Dr Butts is a great dentist, for both regular care and more complicated issues. He’s proactive in addressing concerns and an absolute perfectionist…he makes sure the client is 100% happy! His team is equally as fabulous, efficient, professional and always kind ! Highly recommend!!
