She has helped me so much and built my confidence in doing nails so much! and she is so funny! she is so supportive in every single student! she treats the students amazing! and she gives the best criticism! if u want to become a nail technician pleaseeee come to mrs. mimi’s class! she’s the best!

I had an amazing experience at Avalon Cosmetic Art Institute! One of the standout aspects was my instructor, Ms.Mimi. She is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled and professional. Her teaching style made even the most complex techniques easy to understand, and I always felt supported throughout the learning process. This is a Nail School where Miss Mimi teaches all the students the fundamentals of Nail procedures, nail designs, Manicures, and Pedicures. The students later practice on the customers up when ready until they are prepared for taking their State’s Cosmetology Test and obtaining their License. I have been here many times to get and maintain my acrylic nails with various nail lengths and designs.. They have always done a great job. It does take a bit longer because the students are still practicing and take their time to do a great job. The price is economical. I have always left happy with the work they’ve done here. I love the price too! I suggest you give them a try and help prepare the students by learning and becoming a nail technician.

Ms Mimi has made this entire corse so amazing. She never fails to encourage all the students and made us all feel welcome. She is an amazing teacher and has made learning about nail so easy! Ms. MiMi is super nice and funny but also straight to the point. I really enjoyed the nail tech classroom experience and the flexibility with the hours since I work full time. There is a lot of hands on training and great field trips. The environment is clean and calm and I would recommend Avalon Cosmetic Art Institute to any and everyone interested.

Beautiful and clean location. The instructor, Mimi, and the students were friendly. They did a great job on my spa pedicure and the price was affordable. If you take to the time to go to get some services please allot time as they are learning students and this is a teaching moment for them.

Such a great school! Ms. Mimi is so passionate about the industry and it really shows! She taught us how to be efficient yet not compromising the outcome. Everyday was such a joy coming to class! We learned a lot both in the theory and practical. She still in active in the industry so we learned so many new techniques and designs! Any questions about nail products- she got you too! My friends that goes to other nail schools in SC told me they're jealous since they instructor doesnt teach much and just make them learn from youtube and read the textbook all day. So I'm glad I chose to go to Avalon! Thank you Ms. Mimi!!!

Had a pedicure at the Rock Hill location. Staff was great and the inside was very clean. The students were friendly and did a great job painting my nails!! Make sure you have plenty of time to get your service done. Everything is done by students and they are learning.

I learned a lot from Ms. Mimi, she is an amazing teacher. She cares for each and every student on a different level. She is incredible when it comes to designs and new nail techniques. I especially enjoyed the Chester location because of how much space we had in the classroom. Theres plenty of desks for students, a separate study hall, and even a break room with a fridge, microwave, ect. Perfect for students that like to bring lunch with them. Ms. Mimi is very organized and communicative. On your first day you will Receive layouts/books that show you what you will learn each week so you are prepared. I had an amazing time going to this school and I am extremely grateful for the opportunities, and things I have accomplished thanks to Ms. Mimi!!
