When you leave the Doctor’s office with an autism diagnosis, your life just came crashing down. Life does not really change except now you just feel more lost and unsure of what to do next. Your world becomes scary and unknown. Meghan has, and still is, helping us navigate this new world. At the time of my daughter’s diagnosis, I reached out to 14 Autism Behavioral companies. Meghan was the only one to return my call, she talked to me for an hour on the phone without knowing my insurance or if she would be able to take us on as a client. Luckily, Meghan entered our lives and has truly been a blessing. She has brought my daughter so far in many ways. From feeding, potty training, sleeping habits, transitions, pretend play, and speaking. After being with us for two years, Meghan is not just my daughter’s behavioral analyst, she is also our cheerleader, coach, and truly a member of our family. She never gives up with her, or us, and she truly cares about my daughter. I have called Meghan in tears for good and bad days. I thank her for being able to take my daughter to a Disney ice show where I just cried because I was doing something that I never thought I had a chance to enjoy. This is not just a profession to Meghan, this is truly a talent and gift. It is who she is and I have never been more thankful to have someone in our lives.
