Dr Naila is wonderful. I've been taking my daughter to see her since we've moved to Austral in December 2024. And will continue to do so.
But the male receptionist is generally unpleasant and unfriendly. His tone is curt and professional in the robotic sense of just trying to get you out the way. I called for a last minute appointment, and I already understand it is difficult to fit in walk-ins, he said that it would be a 2hour wait. I said that's fine, I'll take what I can. And then he tells me 'no, you can't come in'. I was confused and then he gives me a litany of excuses; the wait will be ages, including Dr Naila won't see any more patients.
I genuinely do not need to be strung along and spoken to condescendingly. Is the wait 2hours for the next walk-in or not? Do you take walk-ins or not?
However, Dr Naila is wonderful and understanding. At the end of the day we go to the centre for her expertise and wonderful customer service.
Pathology is great too! Great with bubs!
Try to keep your interactions with the male receptionist to a minimum and it's a great health centre!
Edit: The response says they were accurate in their information. Please read my review, the receptionist said it would be a 2hour wait, I said that is fine. I suspect they said this because they assumed I would decline due to the wait. It was then, they back tracked.
My frustration is being spoken to condescendingly and dishonestly.
I know there are other alternatives if I cannot get an appointment here. So being turned away is not the issue. It is the receptionists attitude. The response didn't help either.
3 star changed to 2 star.
Happy to change review should their be improvement in customer service.
