AMAT IS A GREAT school with a reasonable cost. As a medical assistant I found it to be very informative and helpful. One of the things I appreciate most about this school is that they have variety of class schedules they offer, which makes so convenient for people who have family, work and other responsibilities. They take time to explain well to make sure we understand well and provide hands-on experience to build a better confidence. Overall I definitely suggest that this school is a great place to start your career as a healthcare professional. The professors ( Dr. Abeer and Dr.Remo ) are very knowledgeable and great people.Front desk staff Mrs.Loren is the best ❤️

Austin Medial Assistant wasn’t just any school it was my second home. Dr Abeer was a second mother, roshana and Lauren was like my sisters. Here is where started my future, I did phlebotomy and achieved a certificate and I went back and did the MA course and I also came out in the end with a certificate. They don’t only teach her off slides. They give hands on training, Dr Abeer is a master at teaching I love her so much never one day I felt like I didn’t wanna go because going was always set a positive mind set. I started building here for my future this was my foundation. And I’m proud and happy I chose Austin Medical Assistant training. I found my second family who I started there. And I’ll forever be grateful for the time Dr Abeer, roshana, Lauren, Miss Fedelica and Mr bishore put into us graduating and pushing forward harder and stronger everyday. Love you guys.

Great school awesome staff. Front desk is very welcoming. They do a check up call to follow up one week after your class has started. Just to see if there is any questions or concerns you need assistance in. That’s what makes this school stands out. They prioritize their students. Dr Hia is the best professor. She is knowledgeable explains material so everyone understands. Ms Kaur is very nice but not teacher material some information related to the class not accurate. She is more chatty than teaches.

I have had an absolutely amazing experience at Austin Medical Assistant Training School. I successfully completed both their Phlebotomy and Electrocardiography (EKG) programs, and I am now on my way to completing their Medical Assistant program as well. One of the things I appreciate most about this school is the variety of class schedules they offer, which makes it so convenient for students who are balancing work, family, or other responsibilities. The professors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to making sure we fully understand everything that’s being taught. They take the time to explain each concept clearly and provide hands-on experience that builds real confidence. Another major highlight is that once you complete the Medical Assistant program, the school provides some of the most reliable externship opportunities, which truly help students transition smoothly into the field and gain valuable real-world experience. I genuinely feel like I am being set up for success in the medical field, and I am grateful for the positive environment and high-quality education provided here. I highly recommend Austin Medical Assistant Training School to anyone looking to begin or grow their career in healthcare!

I had a great experience at AMAT. I completed 3 programs, CNA, PCT and MA and I must say i learned so much from each one. My instructor, Ms. Hia Tamanna was very supportive, patient and super kind and always willing to help with whatever you need. In my opinion she made learning easier and fun with both lectures and labs. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to start a career in healthcare.

I completed my Phlebotomy Technician course here, and it was a great experience! The instructors for both lecture and lab were excellent — knowledgeable, hands-on, and very engaging. They made the lessons simple, clear, and connected everything to real-life experiences. We were encouraged to ask questions, volunteer, and study together as a class. They didn’t waste any time and truly prepared us well. I highly recommend this program!

Nurse Kathy was a great professor. The lectures were amazing. Nurse kathy taught me so much and inspire me to achieve greatness. The labs were hands on which was great we learn on each other. Instead, of the hand mannequin like most school use. The school teaches you a lot and prepare you for the real jobs. However, the internship and how it is done is not good. Also, with my internship it was very unprofessional. I had to find my own job after the program. It was difficult being I was just getting my foot in the door. The schedule and internship, the staff members can be unorganized. Overall, it is a great school.

This experience with this class is amazing. I had a wonderful experience learning in my class and becoming certified as a phlebotomist. The teachers were very nice and taught very well in class. Roshana and Lorelle helped a lot in the progress of entering the course and I am happy to be able to meet a lot of people in this course. Dr.Hia and Mrs.Kaur has been excellent teachers teaching the course and bring an amazing experience in the classroom. Thank you everyone in this school.

My experience at AMAT was truly amazing. I successfully completed the Medical Assisting program, and I am so grateful for the care and support I received throughout my journey. The staff and instructors genuinely want to see their students succeed and are always there when you need encouragement. A special thank you to Dr. Abeer and Dr. Remo for giving me the push I needed during challenging times. AMAT felt more like a family than a school, and I will always be thankful for that experience.💐💖

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dr. Frazier from Austin Medical. Although we didn’t come to the school directly, he was very dedicated in coming to the classroom twice a week to the Bronx. He is the reason why I was able to pass both of my NHA Phlebotomy & EKG exams in a short amount of time. I couldn’t understand most of the things that were being taught, but he kept being repetitive about the topics discussed so that way we would understand it. Even though the program was short, he did his absolute best to work with us. If there were any concerns or questions about the coursework, he was available to speak after class and on the weekend VIA e-mail. My experience was exceptional & he was very much patient and professional.
